Thank you for this. I thought was once your test came back negative you were in the clear...now I know different. -
I hope your appointment goes well with your appointment. Hopefully your test were done less than 12 months ago. If not, I think you might have to do them over.

I was also tested for this before surgery. I though that was part of all the normal pre-op testing? -

I'm hoping to have my surgery in November at Kaiser (West Los Angeles). I completed the 12 week of Options Classes that are required, lab work done, EKG, chest x-rays and pre-op appointment going over all the test results. Everything was good there but I was low on Vitamin D. Now I'm waiting on the call to set up my appointment with the surgeon! I guess the EGD will be scheduled after? Can't wait to be with you all on the losers bench!!
