Will you lie about the surgery?

My doctor put abdominal surgery on my leave paperwork for work. Which could have been fibroids, hernia, or gall bladder for all anyone knew. However there may be some nosy Rosie's. that have no problem asking "what kind of surgery did you have". I just say I can't believe you just asked me that. I had surgery of a delicate nature and won't elaborate further. :-)

Progress at 2.5 months with pics.

Looking good Gamer girl, your progress is outstanding IMO. It's amazing the areas that show progress first isn't it?. I guess that's why everyone's experience is different- we all lose at different rates and in different areas.

    How do I post pics?

I thought I typed a reply to you, but I don't see It anywhere. To post pics from your phone, I go to the site and make sure You click the FULL VERSION (at the very bottom of the page). If you are posting pictures in reply to a topic, there should be a button that says attach/upload files- that would be where you upload the picture you want to post. If you still don't see it, you may have to chose full editor for it to come up. Hope that helped.
  5. Thanks for the encouragement guys!!!! Sometimes it's hard to "see" our progress, but the airplane was irrefutable proof that its working. This was my first flight without my ex-boyfriend, who was average sized. He would always get the seat next to me and raise the armrest so I wouldn't be embarrassed or encroach upon my neighbor. I've heard stories of people being asked to buy a second seat and I've been petrified that it would one day happen to me. I had tears in my eyes when i realized I could sit down comfortably :-)

    How do I post pictures?

If you are on your phone, i have to go to the site on my phone (not the app) and chose to view the page in the full version (an option at the very bottom of the page). Once you do that, you should be able to attach pictures. Hope this helps

    Headed to gnc today

I second quest bars as well. The texture takes some getting used to but it's the least nasty bar I've found this far. I also buy the isopure zero carb ready-to- drink beverages. Like quest bars, they are sort of acquired taste but have 160 calories and 40 grams of protein for the entire bottle. Very helpful for when you can't get a protein shake in

    August Sleevers?

Nope. Only members of the group can see your likes or whether other sleeve members liked something you posted
  17. I was sleeved on 8/19 and my post op loss has been slower than yours. I too felt like I couldn't "see" the loss (since my clothes aren't falling off me thanks to my stubborn hips and thighs). That is until the past few days when I decided to take pictures and compare them to my pre op pictures. There is a definite difference. Not as drastic as I would like, but I'm sure my stubborn areas will get with the program at some point. I think the same goes for you and your trouble spots

    Before and After Pics

I'm nearly six weeks post op and am finally starting to see a difference. The first picture in each of these were taken one month before my surgery. The other pictures are from last night and last week at work (sad that the best full length mirror in my life is in the ladies room at work)

    Breaking the news! HELP!

Can you just say you have to miss because you have an appointment with your physician and if she requires a note, you will provide her with one upon your return. I havent toldl my coworkers and during the pre-op phase I kept the explainations as simple as possible. Luckily (depending on your view) I was in a car accident a few months earlier so I think they automatically assumed my appointments were related to that

    Excess skin

I dry brush and moisturize like crazy. Got a trainer and am working on strength training as well. I'm still in the early stages of my weight loss journey but I hope it works

    Fitbit friends?

I don't understand how to add friends. It only goes through my contacts. Do I need to make new "contacts" for you guys and add you that way?
