Welp I got through the liquid diet sans sandwich. And I have a 14 pound weight loss to show for it. Surgery went well but I was in no way prepared for the pain afterwards. Whoa baby did it hurt! Thank God it quickly subsided I'm 3 dats post-op now I only took my pain meds once on the night I came home. I'm just really really tired and can't wait to get back to feeling normal. Thanks for your support!I'm glad your surgery went well and I know about the pain...I still can't sleep in my bed yet. My recliner has been a lifesaver.

Has anyone had swollen ankles after surgery? My surgeon didn't want me back on my high blood pressure medication. What did you take to relieve the swelling in the ankles?

Thanks! Maybe I'm being impatient' date=' I started this process in July. My surgeons office said the approval process normally is not this difficult and time consuming, but it seems like a lot of people here are dealing with this.[/quote']
When I spoke to Aetna they told me that I should speak with someone in the precertification Dept and will be able to tell me whether or not I got approved
