I'm 5'6" and weigh 221, I'm 45 years old. I'm hoping for a late September surgery date and will add to the data thread here afterwards. It's nice to connect with some others starting at about the same BMI. Sometimes i think being at the lower end of the BMI scale can have some of its own challenges. Stories we tell...how do you not "lie" without saying you had WLS?

I'm interested in some of the tales told by those who have had WLS to those who don't really need to know your business. There Are some people I don't mind sharing the truth, but then there are others that would only judge if they knew. Any stories that aren't really "lying". How do you explain the strict diet afterwards? Etc. Thanks in advance. Also appreciated any generally guidance dealing with questions by people afterwards . -
