Glad it's not just me, I need to get altoids!

I get over 64oz of Fluid a day and record everything in MFP. I have started walking at least 4 days a week for 30-45 minutes. Plus keeping up with my twin 3 year olds and 8 year old.
Thanks for the replies!!!

Nice work KimMy sister had surgery before me and she decided not to exercise at the beginning (easy decision) while the weight loss was easy. She then chose to start exercising when the weight loss slowed some. Her reasoning was that if she was gung ho with exercise from the start then when the weight loss slowed she would have to increase the exercise to a level that was not sustainable. So' date=' when I had surgery I did the same thing. I just had the simple walking to and from work for 10 minutes each way and added one treadmill 30 minute walk a week for the first 5 months (remembering that's a lot of exercise anyway when you're that heavy). I felt the slow down 5 months so I started going to the gym twice a week doing cardio and weights (again, alot of exercise LOL). Then, at 9 months I slowed down again some, put up with it for a few weeks then said yes, 5:2 diet. So I have been on 5:2 since and weight is dropping nicely still. I am at month 11 since surgery now and am down 71.6 kilos / 157 pounds.[/quote']
What's the 5:2 diet?

I am 3 months out and I have lost 60lbs! I am definitely excited about my progress but I would like to keep this going. I know eventually I will slow down losing and I think I am in a stall right now. Can anyone tell me what they did to keep the weight loss going? I still need to lose about 80lbs....
Thanks

I had 2 c sections before my VSG and there is no comparison, this for me was a walk in the park. Surgery was at 7am and by 2 PM was up and walking and by 8 the next morning I was going home. I also had a hiatal hernia repaired during surgery. I am almost 8 weeks post op down 48lbs and loving life!

Well I have picked dr scarsbourgh at Tlc' date=' an I have already started all my insurance requirements. I should be done in November, so I should be sleeved in December![/quote']I used dr. Yu he is in the same office as Scarborough. I think everyone in the office is very nice. You will love working with them.

Sleeved on July 25. Lost 10 pounds pre-op and 41 post-op. I just started eating poached eggs' date=' and that's the firmest food I'm eating. I'm having a hard time drinking enough because I still tend to drink too fast. I had a brief stall, but once I upped my food intake, I got back to rapid losing.[/quote']What did you up your intake too?

I've been crying and whining all day because I feel bad.. I'm 5 days post op and can't drink shakes or that much Water.. I told my husband I regreted it.. but then I saw your post and wow.. there's hope!! You look AMAZING!! I guess ill put my big girl panties on and keep sipping my water.. Congratulations!!I drink Water better when it's just a little cooler then room temp and add a splash of G2 to it and its even better!!! Good luck!

Hey everyone! I am 1 year and 5 days post op! I am sitting here wearing a size 4 Calvin Klein jeans!! Hope everyones doing well and kicking obesity's ass!Did you have stalls throughout your journey?
-
I am down a total of 37 lbs. (including preop diet) my pants are starting to get really lose especially in the legs but in my waist I can't go down a size yet. I am walking around looking like I have a load of crap in my pants. I am also still in a 3 week stall, so it's been a week. I am at 4 weeks post op today. So frustrated makes me second guess what the hell I did to myself. Thanks for letting me vent, I am just ready to drop a full size and get this show on the road...

My incisions from the sleeve didn't open but after 1 of my c-sections my incision came open. It was big. Went to doctor and we just kept it clean and dry and eventually healed up on its own

Awesome job. Are you exercising?

eggs seem to have a problem settling in a new sleeve. If you ate it fast you will definitely have some discomfort as well. Wait a few days and try again it will probably be much better! Thanks!!!
-
Thanks- I just panicked. I don't think I ate more then 1/2 an egg. It tasted great but I have to learn to slow it down..
-
I am in soft stage and had scrambled egg for dinner. I didn't even finish 1 egg so I am not sure what happened but now I feel like I have an elephant sitting on my chest and its hurting so bad. Maybe I ate to fast and it's having to digest??? I just hope I haven't hurt anything, ugh...

The funny thing is there are things that "sound good" but I am not dying to get them. Before surgery however I wanted to jump through the tv screen anytime a commercial came on for food
July sleevers please check in..
