  1. i was honestly so tired that i just slept the 3 days, and when i wasnt sleeping i was going potty or walking lol

    when i first woke up i didnt want to be in the gown anymore so i had my mom help me and put on pants and tshirt... just so i was not worried about a boob popping out or etc. it didnt rub or hurt any.

    i also put my hair in a braid because you are not going to want to worry about your hair the time you are there... it was so nice cause i got to take a shower and not worry about my hair too.

    i took a blanket that smelled like home, just to make me feell a little better those blankets are rough at the hospital

    slippers or flipflops

    i took little bags of goodies to give my nurses too, they did such a amazing job on me and i wanted to be sure to thank them... gum, candy, pens etc just fun little thanks for all you did for me


  2. i went to the store to get some chicken to make more salad and etc and found a total score!!!!

    wanted to let people know who are looking for that EXTRA bit of protein... just found at Walmart last night... in the frozen section butterball, turkey burgers...

    i could only eat just about half (im four weeks out) i took that last bite of the half i was eating and the dog got the bite... i was too full and didnt want to over fill myself.

    it was not aweful... i put cheese on the top and some sweet onion dressing i have and i was happy and full! brought the other half for lunch today at work!!!

    love finding things that have so much GOOD protein in it! i am a single girl that lives alone... so anything i make is in SMALL quanties!!!


  3. hey there i am 4 weeks post op, i started the gym on week 2, just doing the tredmill and eliptical... about 2 miles a day on one or the other, just at a slow walk pace

    i had my first softball game at 3 weeks and had no issues

    i started doing the stair climber yesterday, and let me tell you I LOVE IT! i was seriously sweating my butt off after 5 min of this... i jumped off and was like so winded... walked around a bit to catch my breath and came back and did 3 min of stedy up stair movement, jumped off again and did this for about 5 times total and i was so pooped!!! i felt great tho.

    tonight i am going to see about doing some weights and tummy inbetween

    there is a lady weight room and i may come in and out... the guys there i am trying to get friendly with but its like i am a new kid on the block cant jump in the middle lol


  4. so glad i read this... i am on a 2 week stall... i am doing so good too.... but its going to come i know it... just trying to stay upbeat.

    i almost cheated and didnt goto gym yesterday because i was so sore from softball... but i went and did 8 miles on the bike and totally wasnt even bad at all, i watch stuff on the ipad so it goes by and i laugh and have a good ole time... and boom i am like wow i just did that? i am going to try and do weights tonight... but i want to get a trainer or try to make a friend with the guy that is there every day and see if he will "spot" me or give me some tips

    i am on normal food now, but i am still trying to get Soup in with Protein for dinner just so that i can get that extra added scoop in there... its funny but its totally true, this morning on the way to work i ate a Breakfast egg thing i found with alot of protein and i just got flustered because it was tiny (in my old fat girl mind) but 2 bites in i was like i am so done... which is nice but i just felt so wastefull... lucky i forgot something and had to go back home... my dogs enjoyed my leftovers. dang dogs are going to gain what i loose hahahahahaha


  6. So I just wanted to let anyone know that may need that extra Protein throughout the day....

    I have been trying to think of great ways to get the most of Protein and many ways.... Drops in the Water, Protein Bars etc.... And I thought I wonder if they had a flavorless kind.... So I walked into GNC and bam they have 100% whey protein flavorless!!! I only got a small package due to being unsure if it would actually be flavorless... So tonight I tried it and not one flavor!!! I put one scoop in a half cup of Soup and bing bang boom best Soup, with added protein I needed.

    I googled a lot and see you can add to yogurt, soup, potatoes, chili etc....
