Hello my WONDERFUL November 2013 sleevers! I haven't checked in, in over 3 months. I hope you all are doing well and super healthy. Well, where is everyone at mentally, physically, and weight? I feel great, normal too. I sometime have low energy but it could be just lazy. I really need to get back in the gym too (confession: only have done about 2 hours of cardio/weight lifting TOTAL). Eating habits are still good for fear of gaining any weight but I AM A SLOW LOSER.... Here are my stats...
HW 295 lbs/size 24
VSG Day 277 lbs/size 22
currently at 223lbs/size 16reg (size 14 not breathing) total loss 72 lbs
hair loss: just a little and no longer losing.
Gals, be firm with me tell me how I need to exercise more and I didn't get this far to start slowing down before my goal.
Thanks for listening and God bless you all.

Looking good! Keep up the great work!

People say their a slow loser but to me I don't see it. If you had only lost 20 pounds in 6-7 weeks, Then yeah I would call that a slow loser! I have lost 35 pounds in 10 weeks and I still don't consider myself a "slow loser".
Thank you SoonerOrLater... I know you're right I've just been in a stall for almost TWO WEEKS!!! I'm a bit grumpy and full of poo too! lol lol lol I've been drinking my fluids and special poo tea but I only go once a week. I'm not in pain or anything either. I'm just full of it. lmbo
Hey I completely understand. When i was in a stall for 3 weeks i was not a happy camper! Now for the poop issues i have no advice
OMG! A stall for 3 weeks?! I'm so sorry, I have nothing to complain about. Weight loss does kick start eventually; this is just how my body works, right?
Thank you for understanding SoonerOrLater.

Slow loser here... highest weight 295lbs, surgery date (Nov 4th) 272lbs, while in hospital gain water/I.v. weight 277 lbs. Today I way 248lbs. Total loss of 47 lbs, 29lbs from surgery. I'm okay with being a slow loser but I am a bit sad with my results so far, I feel as I'm doing something wrong. Regardless I'm shaking off the blues and so be it! God bless you all, continued good health and weight loss. Xoxoxo I love this tread and all you losers! Keep me informed. Keep up the hard work too. TAWANDA! (Fried Green Tomatoes, movie quote)

Just a quick "poo" tip... try Ballerina tea, its sold on Amazon or your Asian marketplace. Its great, one cup of tea and thats all you need. I take a mug every three days, $3.99 a box. Taste good with just a bit of honey. I promise this works, no pain or ab work out needed to push either. Smooooth.... lol lol just a suggestion. Merry Christmas.

What are you eating at this point? Need some ideas!
I'm eating soft boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, Soups, meatballs really anything soft or mushy. I think th trick is how it's cooked; you don't want to over cook. Steaming is great. I have Protein Drinks (Atkins), Greek yogurt with finely chopped fruits, I juice lots of fruits and veggies, tuna salad, super thin turkey burgers with cheese and mustard. I can't down whole salads so I juice it in my ninjas with spanish and banana to sweeten it up. I make sugar free cheese cake with no crust in cupcake paper foils etc... graphics a cook book and look at all recipes and ask yourself how can I change the recipe to be Atkins like or sugar free. Oh, the other day I wanted fish taco so I grilled mozzarella cheese in a pan so it gets kind of crunchy and added seasoned spicy tuna with a spinach, Tomato, Verde salsa on top it sour cream and cheese. Rember I'm still eating 1/3 of a taco or 3 bites. I hope this helps. Merry Christmas!

hey girl! I'm with you in the weight loss. I've lost 16 lbs and it seems to keep going up and down the same 4-5 lbs. getting soooo frustrated! I'm sorry we are in the same boat but I'm glad I'm not the only one. Especially when you see how much others have lost in the first month. But I guess it's too late to turn back now!
Yup! Same here! Sleeved Nov 4Th and down 15 lbs from surgery date 34 lbs total from pre-op diet. I think I hit the" three week platue" didn't loss anything this last week till today, 2 lbs. I know exactly how you both feel. Well good luck on the month of December.

Thank you all for the replies to my question, I really appreciate it. So my diet is good then. I have had no fats or carbs just 1 boiled egg every other day, just sugar free fluids and 1 or two Protein Shakes a day. I am feeling weak and a very bad attitude. So far... I've been called into my bosses office twice in four days! Lmao! I do work with cupcakes thou.
Xoxoxo to all of you guys & gals.

Hello everyone, I have a quick question. What shrinks your liver? Is it the amount of Water or fluids? Is it the all liquid diet? Is it the all liquid diet with Protein Shakes and if your lucky one very small high Protein meal a day? I guess my question is... Is it the protein or Fluid? My pre-op diet is all Clear Liquids and just one Protein Shake a day. Every other day because I can't take it and I'm about to pass out I eat a boiled egg, is that really bad? I won't eat an egg the last 4 days of the diet. Please remember I'm on day 5 of this diet and this may not make sense. Lol lol Let me know your thoughts and thank you for your replies.

I had over 6 months knowing this time would come. I thought ... no problem ... this is seriously rough. Things I never ever crave' date=' I see my kids eating and I want to lick the bowl. Just to have the taste. This is insane. I know I'll be happy 6 months from now, but now ... UGH!!![/quote']Hello Inarakatra, I'm on day 3 completed, today I wanted to start licking envelopes! Hang in there, God bless and stay busy; I worked 12 hours today.

This web page offers' date=' what seems like very reasonable and sound explanations as to why we experience "shedding" and hair loss after WLS.http://www.slhn.org/docs/pdf/bariatric_surgery_and_hair_loss.designed.pdf[/quote']
NO !!!!!!!!!! No more then 6 months duration! Ahhhhhhhh! Thank you for standing by my mental break down; you may continue your day.

Thank you all your replies. I am having surgery in Mexico. I was just wondering, about my BMI... Don't want to jeopardize my surgery for anything. I still going to diet then.
