I am a bout 9 weeks post op and I am having trouble pooping regularly. I mean I am only going maybe once every 4 or 5 days. It is very uncomfortable when I do finally go and I always have to use some intervention. Like milk of magnesia, or Smooth Move tea or an enema. How about every body else?

Sometimes when you are going through a complicated medical situation it is find to find someone with the exact same condition. I have had lots of experience with complicated medical things. I had a stroke at 28, 3 surgeries for pelvic tumors. Maybe we can offer better support if we know what the main struggle is.
What is your biggest concern?
Is it facing a pregnancy with the sleeve so early on?
Is it the possible birth defects?
Is not being prepared for another child?
Is it not being able to nourish the baby?

I wanted to add that I fighting for every damn pound this is not the easy way at all! I am working my ass off! I have lost 10 inches off my waist since 7/4/13!

Nope, I looked and looked. I also have a lot of regular medicine and I was not looking forward to adding more. I actually like the Centrum chewable vitamins the best of all the ones I tried.

Okay I am going to be really frank with you, the first week was so awful! The second week was a little better , the third week I really started to feel like myself again. Most people don't have a nausea issue after the first few weeks. I still do though and I am 8 weeks out.

I understand, I was shocked when I looked at my pictures from before. It is not like looking at a stranger but I cannot believe I was that big.

I tried upping my calories to throw my body a curveball and it worked. Are you getting any carbs? Any fruit? That seemed to help me somewhat too. My body could not function well with out any carbs at all. Some people may disagree with me but I was not losing on essentially no carbs. Also, are you able to use the bathroom regularly that made a huge difference for me.

I had surgery 11/19 , HW 282, SW 239, CW 221 only 18 pounds since surgery. I am not exactly happy with my loss either but I am taking as a clue to exercise more and hit my protien and Water harder.

Do you eat dairy or eggs? Fish? Have you tried Isopure? I know you said you are over Protein Shakes but itis different.

I am the odd one out here. I am almost six weeks post op and still nedd the zofran daily. Usually when I wake up is the worst. I also still need the medicine for stomach spasms sometimes the levsin or bentyl they both work well. Guess my stomach is really sensitive compared to others.
