I hope these pictures help . I am not sure how to rotate them correctly. The first one is from the side as my horizontal incision goes about 2/3 of the way around my body. The second one obviously is the front. I had 4 pounds of skin removed 7 weeks ago. I have been wearing my surgical binder as well as a spandex tank top all the time with some nights off. I have also been using mepiform scar sheets since about three weeks out on most of my incision sites. I did have a second surgery for infection on my right hip so that area has healed more slowly but still looks great. I am not lying I still have pain an am using my pain medicine at night and sometimes when I am more active during the day, I went back to work at just under 6 weeks.

I had TT, Brest lift, arms .... He told me to wait 6 weeks. And I could do everything. I started slowly with weights, abs and kickboxing. But I'd say I was back to original form at about week 10.

I had surgery 11/19/13 I am 42 and 5'4. I started at hw282 in July. I lost 30 pounds before my preop diet, 13 pounds on the diet, I have lost 36 pounds since surgery sw 239 cw 203. Our stats are very similar. I have not had any noticeable Hair loss yet. I am working out like crazy that is our one big difference. I am in the gym 3-4 days a week for 1-2 hours. I would be there more but life intervenes. I am averaging 900-1000 calories but working most of them off in the gym. I was in a 22-24 and in a 16 probably would fit a 14 now . No fatigue issues here but I do sleep than I probably ever have.

Oh geez I am sorry I forgot to add maybe adding some kind of exercise that you can manage with your knee. Chair aerobics or swimming believe it or not may help you develop more energy than you have now.

I am a bout 9 weeks post op and I am having trouble pooping regularly. I mean I am only going maybe once every 4 or 5 days. It is very uncomfortable when I do finally go and I always have to use some intervention. Like milk of magnesia, or Smooth Move tea or an enema. How about every body else?

I think it is definitely a possibility for me but I will need plastics first. I have major skin issues! At least they are major to me. And my boobs are headed for the south pole!

I know this might sound ridiculous but have tried chewing sugarless gum and taking the baby for a walk. I keep gum in pocket all the time. I think it is helping because even though I am craving sugar terribly and giving in sometimes, damn Halloween, I have not gained yet. It is just a short term fix but maybe it will help a little.

I'm supposed to have a panniculectomy done December 8th. Worried I will not be happy but can't afford Tummy Tuck at this point. Insurance is covering Panniculectomy. Anyone had just the panniculectomy and if so how do you feel about the results? I have a small area above the belly button but not crazy.

Try veggies with hummus it has some Protein. I know some folks may say no to this one but I have Peanut Butter in the night if I wake up. It seems to help me a lot.

Bronco0605 reacted to RJ'S/beginning in not sure where to post this- husband absolutely does not support wls
This is not a numbers game. This is about fighting a disease that is rampant and just now coming out into public view and that is food addiction and the mental, emotional and physically affects of it on a person if left unchecked and untreated.
This is your body and your life and he needs to understand that you are doing this for the entire well being of the family. There are a lot of reasons why a spouse may not support us but we have to push past it and do it for ourselves. And keep the reasons close to our hearts.
It could be fear of so many things. some of which he does not even know at this time. It might be a good idea to take him to your surgeons meetings with you so he can see the reality of it all.
For now you have our support and hopefully your hubby will come around! Wishing you all the best in your future!

Have you taken measurements? I looked at your profile to see your height is similar to mine I am 5'4. I am currently 164 pounds . Obviously your size will depend on your measurements on you have to find the brand that is right for you ! I really like Gloria Vanderbilt, and Falls creek . I am one who is fitting in smaller sizes now but I have seriously lost my boobs!
