I'm big into natural myself but sometimes there is no natural cure for Perioral Dermatitis besides strong prescription gels combined with oral Doxycycline. I had it under control for almost a year until now. I am convinced it's hormonal from this weight loss. My skin is also SUPER oily lately and my pores are so clogged and that's never been an issue for me. :/ I started using Unrefined/Organic Coconut Oil when I first was diagnosed as a moisturizer and I do feel it kept the PD at bay for a long time. I also only use that on my body after I shower. No more lotions. I love that stuff.
O ok im not familiar with your skin condition, ill have to look it up (in the spirit of always learning new things). Im in love with coconut oil also It can b used for soo many things.

I too have clothes from the past I can get into...also i have been workin on my scars by using a mixture of olive' date=' coconut, caster and Vitamin e oils (I like to do natural products.) I also have the same issue withe my period and I have an iud so I wasnt getting them before. My skin has also been acting crazy I normally have like oily or combination skin depending on what time of the year it is.. I recently gave th"oil clense" a try(again I like to try the natural way first its safer and cheaper) it has worked wonders for my skin so far definitely not as oily throughout the day which has led to less to almost no breakout s at all! Google or you tube it, its sounds crazy that someone would clean thier skin with oils but it really works[/quote']

What kind of oils?
The oils I frequently use I listed earlier. I also use grapeseed oil and jojoba oil which is great if u have sensitive skin because it is very similar to the oils our body reproduce naturaly. Ive also heard great things about almond oil for skin and stretch marks I may add that to my next concoction. lol.....those are a few suggestions but I encourage you to do your own research everyones skin is different but I dont think u can go wrong with natural oils its the chemicals in all beauty products we buy that im afraid of

Usinng oils will also help with tightening some extra skin...so I've read...so far so good!

Good for you!! Luckily I don't have to buy clothes either because I was a size a 18 just about 2 years ago so luckily I'm okay in the clothing dept. And yes' date=' it feels like gaining a new wardrobe. There's so many cute things in there that I forgot about and I'm glad to be back into lol. I've heard Mederma scar cream works pretty well But first I have an appt with my dermatologist next week so I'm going to see if there's anything he recommends. I'll be happy to pass on the info! I know what you mean about the Water retention. I personally believe I'm having issues with that too. My stomach always feels super bloated when I wake up and also I think the rapid loss has messed with my hormones big time. I've had my period 3 times since surgery! I have an IUD so I'm not used to this as I hardly ever get a period. Also my skin has gone absolutely haywire and I have an outbreak of PD and that's been gone for about a year now. Oh well, these things are minor in the grand scheme of things. [/quote']

I was sleeved on 7/9 lost 12 lbs preop
Date of surgery 233 I am now 203 total of 42 lbs lost. I cant wait to see a number under 200. I believe I could be doing better but with my busy schedule I've not fit in exercise as much as I should. However I follow my food plan MOST days lol not always perfectly, but im happy! Its a journey and I dont want to be so strict that I don't enjoy it. Ive wasted enough of my life worrying and being miserable. I got a second chance and im living now! God bless us all and our new healthier lifestyle!

I lost my fit bit flex charger :-(
Does anyome know where I can get a new one? I looked on the website but no luck
-
I dont know much about body media but I can say that I looove my fitbit flex!! At the time I purchased it I compared it to jawbone and nike fuel band and the flex was the best. I love that it links up with other apps like mfp and walgreens where I earn points and discounts. I charge it once a week, it's Water proof, and I often forget I have it on.

I find it so hard to figure out...guess it's just seeing what works
Don't worry you'll get it soon enough. I dont think any of us are pros at this yet. It's still early on and its a big adjustment. I try not to kick myself when I mess up or eat something wrong because we are still learning what works and what doesn't. Just give it time

I guess I thought I was getting to where I could eat more so I packed my lunch with a little larger portion amount. Instead I felt like dying. I think im having issues figuring out when im full.I thought the same and was worried I stretched my stomach already but as posted earlier I think it just depends bon the consistency of the food smooth or pureed I can eat more of but I can't eat the same amount with meats. Im still having trouble at times with eating slowly Foods that some said took them an hour I sometimes finish in half that time.

I just walk. Sometimes I do the elliptical. I don't have any desire to go to a gym yet.
I have been walking and doing the elliptical for 30min also. Sometimes id play my wii active game... I dont know what happened I lost my mojo lol. I haven't had the urge to go to thr gym yet either but eventually ill work my way up to that. ...I hope!

I too track cals on mfp and broke my stall with a 6 lbs lost. scale is now stuck again for the past few days, im hoping its not another stall. I had a couple guilty plesures on the 19th(my bday) and I have not walked or worked out this wk as I was before. So if it is a stall I can only blame myself! I jus havnt been in the mood to workout but I hope I can get back on track real soon. Hows everyone else with working out is it still just walking for some?

I went to the required pre-op meetings but I haven't gone to any post op! It's tough with my work schedule. That's awesome! Does she have a date?
I agree I've only been to one since surgery. ...not yet she was cleared but I think she is waiting on insurance.

I was sleeved in Springfield MA on July 9th

I had surgery on July 9th & to date' date=' I've only lost 24lbs since surgery, 37lbs pre surgery diet. i really feel like I should've lost a lot more. In the last two weeks, I've only lost like 2 lbs. it's so frustrating!! I drink decent amts of Water & Protein. I don't get it. I'm eating like 1/3 or 1/4 of the calories I did before surgery....?!? I'm on soft foods now & I also have to take nausea medicine with every meal, unless its liquid or i get so sick to my stomach. So weird! It's definitely taking a whole lot of adjusting to my new life style.[/quote']I had surgery the same day and lost 12 pre op 18 post op. I too get frustrated at times because others have lost soo much more than me, but im committed to this new life style. Im sticking to the food plan and exercising, I know itll all work out and be worth it in the long run!! Stay focused and have faith we can do this! I totally agree though.. its a major ajustment.

I gave up on them awhile ago. I just cant tolerate them, I get sooo nauseous. I get my Protein in with Isopure Water it has 40g of protein and then when I choose my meals I choose protein 1st. I also sometimes drink slimfast 321 low carb shake for Breakfast in addition to the isopure, it has 20g of protein. So most days I get all my protein in that way sometimes over. Its the water I struggle with getting enough of.
