i know what you mean about liquids and Proteins. im the same way (pre-op) with liquids, and im still trying to figure out how i will get in protein since i dont like almost ANY of these disgusting-fake-sugar-having Protein drinks and powders. (im ranting on ur rant lol) anywhooooo, the vitamin bit. i feel u on that too. i got a daily vitamin keeper, and STILL forget to take em. i've just never been a medicine taker/pill popper. but as with all things on this journey...it will b an adjustment whooooo my sista! talk about a vent. I think maybe they didnt mention it, because it has become an integral part of their life. to them, it may not be such a bad thing.

what do u mean no one told you? the nutritionist didnt tell u? dont you think that eating more than one cup of food, or even mouthfuls of food is what made the surgery necessary in the first place? kind of ironic. I'm hoping not to feel this...cuz im a bonafide foodie. #scared everyones advice was well put...good luck

im not even gonna attempt isopure. actually i already did. and i immediately was like "wtf is this?!" lol smh. what does the left side pain feel like? and what is crystal protein?? btw. i'm glad you are doing well!

lol i dont multiple meals, like dinner, lunch, dinner again. but then for lunch AGAIN?! LOL no thanks. I'm definitly looking forward to saving money on food. when i would do my budget, and look over the past months expenses, my highest costs came from food and gas thank the good Lord, food will be "80%" less costly lol

I am the same way with leftovers. It's going to be hard for me (getting sleeved 7/22) because sometimes i cook for my mom too. i feel like it will be "how much is enough?" i'll learn. #focus #patience

I'm so elated. I received that all important phone call! I've been APPROVED! surgery is on monday, and I will be starting my pre-op clear liquid diet tomorrow! wooot wooot!

My sister had him 8 yrs ago and recommended me. the process has been more or less smooth. I got a surgery date on my second visit because I went to about 6 out of my 8 appointments by that time. My surgery hasn't been approved as of yet. But I'm staying prayed up and positive. They submitted Last Tuesday. They said it would take about 9 days. I called back today, it's in nurses review and I can call on Wednesday to see. Since my surgery is next Monday.

i will try isopure. I purchased some crystal light, just looking for a decent powder. I would like to stay away from whey Protein. but it looks like i'm going to have to take the good with the bad. i tried to get a sample from them, but they only sample Vitamins. maybe one day i'll bite the bullet on that brand. thanks for your replies, ladies

im waiting on cigna as well. im just nervous because i barely lost any weight. my weight was up and down, up and down, and the last month i actually gained. my surgeon didnt seem too worried tho. dont kno if that is just his personality. *shrug* praying...
