    10 1/2 months post op

You look great. I am at the same starting stats as you. I hope & pray that my success is as good as yours. I am on a six month wait due to my insurance. If you don't mind me asking, what did you do to get your results? Congrats on you success!!!

    Its been a while

You look great. I am Hoping to be sleeved by Feb. I pray for the success you have had. Once again you look great!
  5. I am just starting the sleeve process, I was wondering if having your gallbladder removed afterwards is common?
  6. My mother had the bypass done and became an alcoholic shortly after. She did lose a huge amount of wait but it was a hard struggle for her. I just started the process and when my husband & I decided this was the way we were going to go that was one of our biggest concerns. I am not a huge drinker at all. Actually the only time I really do drink is on our monthly date night( we have 3 kids). We have already talked about how that will be the number thing that we want to keep an eye on afterwards. But we have also joked about it too. " our date nights will be a whole lot cheaper now". You just need to listen to your doctor and make sure your support team( my husband) is there to pull you back in when it seems to be becoming a problem. You should know your limits.

    Endoscopy tomorrow

I will finish my last nut in December. I am figuring by the time the doctor completes my work and submits it, it may be Feb. I wish it was tomorrow.
  8. There is a big difference. You look great. Keep up the good work!!

    Endoscopy tomorrow

I was really nervous. My book pressure was high. But trust me it was nothing. They said I would be really tired when I got home and should take it easy. I am home at my desk doing some work. Good luck but its a breeze.
  10. I got home from my endo about 15 minutes ago. It went great. The only complaint I have is a headache. They said that's due to me being a coffee drinker so they told me to go home have coffee, eat and take a nap. I was wheeled in the room at 9:07 and awake with my husband in recovery at 9:28. Very quick. Good luck.

    Endoscopy tomorrow

I just got home from my endo about 15 minutes ago. The only thing I can report is a major headache but they said that's due to me being a coffee drinker. So the told me to do home and have a cup if coffee, eat and take a nap. It was very short. I checked in at 8:15. Got called back at 8:20. I was wheeled into the room at 9:07 and was awake sitting with my husband in recovery at 9:28. Very short. All was good. Good luck to the rest if you. Keep posting on your progress.
  12. Thank you so much for sharing. I couldn't pull my eyes away. My husband watched with me and we were wondering, do the staples stay in forever?. I haven't asked my doctor about that yet. Again thanks for sharing.
  13. I have mine scheduled for first thing tomorrow morning. I am also very nervous about it. I hate the thought of being put to sleep. Good luck!
