  1. I am really trying to Avoid carbs, just for now I don't ever not want to eat them again, but being so close out from surgery I feel like it would be a failure to eat some. I live in north jersey so there are delis on every block. I miss the sandwiches just the bread, ham, Swiss, lettuce, tomato, Italian peppers. Im craving the bread mostly . Plain and simple not pasta or rice don't care about those,just bread. What am I missing nutritionally ?

    hair loss?

    I'm 7 weeks out and I have bald spots despite taking in more than my protein requirement. I'm a woman so it's extra embarrassing for me it's very noticeable.
  3. I'm 7 weeks out lost 24lbs. I'm in the eat normal phase. My NUT and doc told me just to eat 3 meals a day no snacking, and by meals it's like 3 oz. the NUT also said do not eat over 800 calories per day. I don't know how to get a handle on these cravings or head hunger. I'm desperate.
  4. Be had a stomach ache for two weeks now. I'm 7 weeks post op. I've also had diarrhea it so uncomfortable I cant take it anymore. My eating habits are the same. No fats no carbs. Water and protein give me the same ache as eating and I know it's not. Leak because I don't have a fever or soreness it's a cramp and a need to go to the bathroom. Any suggestions ?
  5. Yes I've been taking Pepcid every morning with my vitamins, just as the surgeon suggested.

  9. Was sleeved 4 weeks ago and I lost weight 11 lbs the first week and 5 lbs the next and then nothing for two. I don't go over 800 calories and 220 is from protein shake. My Nut and doctor say I must have a slow metabolism and have to workout extra hard. I'm totally regretting this. If I have to workout 3 hours a day to lose 1lb. Then this was pointless I mutilated myself for nothing. This was supposed to help I know it's not magic but I'm extremely frustrated.
  10. Thank all for your support. Just some stats my starting weight was 224lbs. I have lost 16lbs in the first two weeks not an ounce the past two weeks. I get 65 to 72 grams of protein 50 is just from the protein shake. The NUT has told me not to go over 800 calories per day. I walk during my 30 minute lunch as well as after work.

  12. Endless 80 I know how you feel I was sleeve two weeks ago and I have to say I am a carb addict. There are people who just downright don't want to eat carbs ever again. I too have sandwich dreams and I also love Italian food. I have these crazy cravings which are crazy but alas I am not able to indulge and I'm grateful for that. But at the same time I'm frustrated, I want to eat and have hope for the future tone able to go out to dinner and do that eat but know my limit.
