To Amy n Cocoa...a little advice from a sleever who'll revise to gbp Friday, Lord willing. Don't think of anything as"one last", bc if you do, you'll only want it more. It's not like you'll never eat it again, itll just be "one last" time that it'll be that much of it in one sitting. The mind can be an ugly thing with the tricks it can play but we are in control of those thoughts and too can play tricks back. So keep telling yourselves, it's a life style change starting with smaller amounts, not zero amounts. I hope that made sense, im on my 10 day liq preop and my mind says give it a rest:)). But gl and know that IT'S THE LAST BIG PIECE of whatever, not the last piece; ). Gl

So excited for you, God bless your surgery and surgeons and your speedy recovery. Lord willing, mine is this Friday, ugh, but anxious to get this over with.

I have just copied these amazing sounding recipes. I am on day 14, and I'm ready for my puréed stage! These sound amazing. Anyone hear of the Boston market purée? I'm not sure where he heard that, but it sounds like it might be yummy. Don't know about all of the ingredients, however. Also I've heard that Hormel chili's are good as well. Anyone hear any different?

I will have to dig some more up and post them here. Friend me and I can inbox some to you too.

I agree with Cowgirljane. Just say no. I kept my sleeve and my plastics procedures private and I have zero intention of ever having my results published. Social media with pictures is something that will literally last forever. I don't know how old you are, but many of your friends are likely on social media and will see the post. I also say this in kindness, but a lot of people who don't know you had surgery will have all kinds of judgey opinions about your weight loss if they find out like this.
I am a big advocate for keeping your personal life off of the internet.

I was released last night. I am doing well. I have pain on my left abdomen. My husband and son have been very attentive. It still feels surreal...no regrets thus far.

I should find out my date today
They said they were trying to get it scheduled before year end. I really hope so because I've met my deductible so my out of pocket cost have dropped!

My surgery pushed my date back. December 15th. I'm part disappointed and I am part relieved. Things were getting intense with just one week to go.

Like Dorothy of "The Wizard of Oz," you know the answer to your question. You've written it yourself. You've grown up a lot since you and your friend lost contact. If something doesn't feel right, it probably isn't. Friendships and romances are supposed to make us feel happier, not cause stomach aches. Let him slide. Someone better will come along.
As a general guide for life, never do or say anything or go anywhere that will keep you from holding your head high.

If his wife doesn't know he's been communicating with you the past few days, he's already cheating. For him to be married and telling you -- out of nowhere -- that he's always had feelings for you is a big, fat line.
The guy has nothing to offer anyone. In fact, he's offering nothing.
You want better than that from anyone you get close to, whether as a boyfriend or a pal.
