DON'T worry about Protein. Only worry about hydration at this point. I had NO protein for 4 days only gatorade and Water.< /p>

Had the same thing. Have you had Constipation at all? I did and went to doc and he attributed it to constipation and having to "push" - sorry if tmi. Take a suppository or milk of magnesia and "clean" yourself out. Should help.

Best advice......
Stay at least 2 nights at hospital
Get your liquids in (dont worry about your Protein for 5 days)
Walk Walk Walk

My pre op diet starts on the 7th. Surgery on the 14th. So excited but nervous at the same time. I bought premier and Unjury shakes have all my Vitamins ready. And I have quit smoking for two weeks now!!! Bring it!!! Im ready.
