I never thought it would come to this. I was so sure the 10 or 15 or 20 times I started a diet or weight loss program that this would be IT and I was going to finally succeed on my own. I believed surgery to be the easy way out. My mind had to be changed and gastric sleeve did that. It seems like a compromise between doing the work myself and doing the "miracle fix". It is hard work and I go through many "I suck" moments, but I will ride roller coasters again, and I will run a 5k someday. I am ready!
