Does anyone else have sharp pains on left side under rib cage around stomach area?

Not anymore for me, but a few weeks after I did. My Surgeon said it was Muscle pains.

It lasted for about a week and a half. I had a hernia removed as well so he said my muscles are trying to get back to normal.

I had the same issue. It is muscle pain per my Surgeon. Be careful bending, twisting, or doing too much.

I got approved this morning!!!!!!!! i am soooooooooooooo happy !!!!! God opened all doors and made this happen..... Thanking GOD!!!!!!!

Congrats.... how do you feel... im from tx i just have the insurance.. my home office id out of MI..

I feel great!!! I have an occasional muscle spasm in my main incision area, because I also had a hernia removed. I am losing and I can see the difference. I have more energy and I am happy.

Hey Brownsista! Welcome to the forum. I am a Michigander also. Same insurance as well. Recently sleeved on the 2nd of August.

Sleeved 8/2 home 8/5 and I am doing well. On full liquids. Still trying to get my Water and Protein down. It has not been so easy. Pain is minimal and I am walking good. I can not wait to be a skinny minney! Lol

Things are a lot better. My lungs are clear and my fever is down. Just trying to sip and walk. Thanks for checking.

Yes I have been here since Friday. I developed a lung infection so I am being treated for that.

Sleeve completed on Friday Aug. 2nd

Another update I am still in the hospital. I developed a lung infection which I am being treated for. Hopefully I can home tomorrow.

I made it to the losers bench. Sleeved last Friday Aug. 2nd. I am hoping to be sent home from the hospital on tomorrow. Remember to sip walk pee and cough.

Hello Vst Folks. Just to update you, my surgery went awesome. Completed my leak test today. No leaks or drains needed. MY SLEEVE according to Dr. Taylor is picture perfect. Thanks for thinking of me guys.

Well I suppose it's time for an update.

I ended up back in the hospital last night. I have a hematoma in my abdomen. Looks like I will be here overnight again.... Waiting for the clot to liquify!

I think its because we are drinking a lot and nothing heavy is in your stomach plus nerves. when are you having the sleeve?

My date is tomorrow Aug. 2nd.

Have any of you felt with insomnia during your pre op phase? I haven't been able to sleep for weeks....

Try not being able to sleep for months. Bedtime for me has been 2:45 a.m. or later and rise at 5:50 a.m.
