I was absolutely pissed because they put my picture in the paper(after I begged them not to) for co-chairing an event that raised $5,000 for a new transport van for the local veterans home. I'm in South Jersey was sleeved 05/06/2013 in Atlantic city by Dr. Patel. He and his staff made me comfortable through the whole process. Down 80lbs , 10 more to go. Only negative to the surgery was I had to have my gull bladder removed 8 months post op. No biggie though.

I had the band in mind on my first appointment and my doctor asked me why. He told me the sleeve was a better long term option for my age (33) and that 25% of bands are being removed due to complications. 25% was too high of a number for me and I am so glad I went with the band.

judgey wudgy was a bear....how do you know she's "lazy"? Maybe those yogurts were treats. You have no idea what her kids eat every day. You have chosen to make a life change, but that doesn't mean you should go around making judgments about others. Nor does it qualify you to. I honestly do my best to feed my son well. I really hate the thought that if I pick up a treat for him, some self-righteous woman next to me in a supermarket is automatically labeling me a lazy parent. Just a thought.

You look great!! I totally understand what you mean about the clothes. I never liked the clothes I had but they didn't sell "my style" in plus size. It feels great to be able to dress to my personality.
