I too am very frustrated! I had surgery 11 days ago and am only down 8 pounds. I have been the same weight for 5 days! Help!!

I have never had a problem with my gallbladder but my surgeon suggested I have a gallbladder US tomorrow (5 days before my surgery) to determine if it needs to be removed. I guess it is pretty common to have gallstones after surgery.

Has anyone NOT had to follow a pre op diet? I was told "not to gain any weight" and just eat sensibly. I am a little worried about it. I don't wants liver to be in the way.

I will be sleeved on May 22. I cannot wait! I too hate going out in public and cannot wait until I can feel less self conscious. I am tired of always feeling fat and slow. I am currently at my all time high of 230 pounds. I am 5'4 and gained 50 after back surgery. I hope to lose 90-100 pounds. My surgeon did not start me on a pre op diet. I was just told to "not gain any weight." Has anybody else been told that?

i feel so obsessed! my surgery is May 22 and i feel like I can't quit thinking about it! it has taken a long time to get here and i am so excited and nervous at the same time.

Yahoo! Congratulations! I cannot "weight" until I can say that I am overweight! Good for you!
