Oh em gee! My biggest peeve about WWs meetings was how close they put those little chairs to each other. I hated when my thighs were pressed up against a total stranger's.
Did they not realize that 99% of the people there are fat?

I do not miss...
1.Being out of breath! Have to stop everything just to breathe (fast heart beats)
2. Frequent headaches/ elevated blood pressure
3. Rings cant fit my finger
4. Shoes not wide enough, cant find shoes
5. Stuggling to shop bc big girl clothings arent stylish enough or are too old for me (I'm 25 my main stores were Lane Bryant, Ashley Stewart etc)
6. Clothing is wayyyyyyy to expensive (a big girls PLAIN white shirt= $25) Meanwhile next door skinny store 4 shirts for $20! lmao use to piss me off for real!!!!
NOPE, DONT MISS NONE OF THAT!

Are you an RN? Me too, and I think it makes it harder. I work SICU so instead of seeing the many surgeries that go well, I see the complications. Good news is of all the weight loss surgeries I've seen that have gone badly wrong it has been because of non compliance, going home and eating a whole chicken or Big Mac are just two I remember. I have no illusions that this is an easy answer for any of us, but I do think it's an excellent opportunity to reset the clock and get control of our eating and health once and for all. Just like anything else we have to take personal responsibility for our recovery and results.

How? Do everything you say you will not do or be prepared to literally work your butt off. Make it a lifestyle change, one or the other. What I do, it's a habit. It's as natural to me as breathing.
I'm almost 3.5 years out. Reached goal in 6 months, maintaining for over 2.5 years. How do I know when enough is enough. I used that honeymoon period to absolutely weigh and/or measure all my food when I'm at home. I weigh myself every single morning and I log my food. That is how I know. It's what works for me. It is not something I will get bored with, these are not things that will have to stop if I twist my ankle and I'm not going to get so old I can't possibly go to the gym to do 4000 crunches, lift weights or exercise on an elliptical machine!
You do NOT have to do what I do, this is what works for me...but rest assured, you must do something. Either become a gym rat or get a little obsessive. Anyone who thinks the doctor removes our stomach and that's the end of it. They were fooled or foolish. There is no end date, this is forever....it isn't a fad diet, but it is NOT a magic bullet, it is NOT the easy way out, you must do something, make changes one way or the other.
I don't mean to be harsh, but some times reality just is.

Well it's going to be really hard if you don't measure and record... Especially when you move to the next stage when eating puréed and soft food measuring out 1/4 cup is important because your stomach is still swollen and numb and you won't always "feel" it when you over eat..
Also it sounds like the only thing you got a bit of Protein from if the bit of Greek yogurt.
I would push more yogurt less pudding..
If you hate the shakes try buying unflavored whey protein to add to foods

Well... I've been eating chicken since the puréed stage. Yep folks I puréed my chicken and loved it
I eat chicken almost daily. In the beginning mostly I boiled my chicken (very moist that way)
And would shred it to use during the week.
I also eat it slow roasted too.

You go! One I stopped feeling pain it was on! Lol. Ok I found these protein chips that are 10g's of protein and 130 calls per bag. Health-Wise is the brand. I put my tuna with light mayo on each lil cracker. Yuuuuummmyy! It was less than 2 oz of tun, but the two together were 28 g's of protein and I had no issues at all. I felt normal. Today for lunch I did it with chicken and mayo while my kids ate Sonic right in front of me. I looked at what they were eating and remember.....that's what gave me high cholesterol and all this weight that I'm trying to get off. NO THANK YOU!
