Wow...you were brave to go to a movie! I still haven't gone & I'm 6.5 weeks out! LOL! I **LOVE** popcorn so there's no way I can sit around that wonderful smell & not have some so looks like I'll be borrowing video's from the library a lot now! BTW, which movie did you see that was hilarious?

Mine appeared as a pain in my left shoulder for a few days after surgery. I did not take gas-x. I was told that was more for intestinal gas.

Olive Garden recently rolled out with a small bites menu- there's a few things on there that are Protein heavy and cheap! Perfect for sleevers! Grilled chicken Spiedini with a red wine sauce, meatballs, and asparagus are some of the choices. Make sure to go, and if you like it, let the restaurant chain know- they're trying this concept out so it's not guaranteed to be permanent.

Tonight we went to a seafood place, bonefish grill, and my husband ordered. I asked if they had any smaller portions of the main menu and the waitress said my husband could "add on" a half portion of just about anything on the menu. I had 2 large scallops, 2 shrimp, some spinach and some goat cheese as an "add on" and it was only $10, vs the $22 for the full sized meal. I figure that it wouldn't reheat very well, so I did the half. After my husband tried a bite of each, it was just a bit more than I could eat so I ended up sending a few bites back anyway. My point is, it's always a good idea to ask if they offer an add on or upgrade option.

While I tend to be one of those "follow the program" fellows, and I hope I am. It's over & done with. Get back on the horse and ride. And get your head "in the game".

I've so enjoyed reading this thread! It gives me more options to look forward too because I'm stuck in a rut of eating the same things over & over & over! Thank you all & keep this thread going!

Did anyone have any issue eating salads with raw vegetables in them....I am craving a salad but scare to eat it. I am 6 weeks out

I take a lb of 95% lean beef, I add minced garlic (from a jar), hidden valley ranch powder, onion powder, pepper and Kosher salt. Mix well. Cut Babybel Light rounds into 4's. Then I divide the lb of ground beef into 4ths and then each 4th into 4 pieces (about 1oz each). I pat out each piece flat, lay a piece of cheese on it and roll it up!! Then cook in a pan until done (some cheese may ooze out a little!). Each meatball is 58 calories, 2g of fat and 7.5g of protein! Hope you enjoy them!

I am so happy to hear your stories - yes it does mess with your head. I am almost 4 weeks out and have lost and gained the same 3lbs for over a week. Thanks guys!!

Just viewed your profile pic ~ wow! What a transformation! You know, I still am shocked at how much younger people look after they've lost weight. I guess I never thought about weight aging people but when I see before & after pics, it's almost like seeing a Mother/daughter or Father/son (in your case) pic! You look awesome! Congratulations!
