luckysmomma got a reaction from daadelishopeful in Be honest - does anyone regret the surgery?
Yep, I regret it. I have had no complications except dehydration & I have lost 72 lbs...and I am just over 15 weeks out... I move more toward peace & acceptance with this terrible decision each day, but there's not a day that goes by that I don't wish life had a rewind button... but most people love their sleeve & love their decision to have wls. I am in a very small minority that happen to not love their love & not love their wls decision. Best of luck to you.

luckysmomma got a reaction from sweetlaydee1 in why do people hide it?
People can be mean, intentionally & unintentionally. I told no one. My health is my business. I didn't want to worry family & friends. I didn't want coworkers and others in my life gossiping about me anymore than what they probably already do! I don't look at it as 'hiding' it ...it is my choice not to tell just the same as someone has the choice to tell... everybody is different about it. I think we need to be respectful of everyone's choices on such matters. It is their journey, you know what I mean.

luckysmomma got a reaction from SmilinNC in I didn't tell and neither did my friend not even to me.......need advice
I told no one, not a single soul...my health is my business is how I see it. People can be mean, intentionally & unintentionally. I definitely would never want a coworker of mine to know because most of mine are gossips. I tell people 'not enough' when they ask me how much I've lost & that I'm doing WW for the billionith time (which I do attend each week) & hitting the gym again (which I am). Do what is best for you, but remember once you tell someone you can't take it back..
