I feel the same is hard no being able to go to the restroom I was very normal in that area before surgery I am taking miralax, but is not working. I feel the same way sometimes but the hardest is to stay away from unhealthy foods like ice cream. I am not the one who ask for it but my husband does and is hard yo say no. So I just went for ice cream with my husband and daughter and I ask for a baby size and I did not finished but still I feel so bad. I got home and started to drink water just to feel that whatever I eat Is going to be washnout by the water. Is being hard because I dont ask for unhealthy food but my husband does. Ok so I read about it . And it says is true if someone in the family has it the most probably is that everyone has it now. But not necesarilly because it is spread tru feces like if you dont wawh your hands after going to the restroom and then cook for the family then it is spread. Well a least that is what I found. I just hope I did not infect my daughter and husband I am always washing my hands, but I am going to ask her pediatrician when can she get tested.

Look I have it before surgery. Now I found out because my surgeon send me to get a endoscopy four weeks before surgery is a requirement for him. Once I got my results they put me on two weeks of antibiotics taking 3000 miligrams daily. I took all the pills and two weeks later I have my surgery with no problems. I also have gerd so I am being taking omeoprazole since a month before surgery and will continue taking it for a year. Good luck to you. Call your doctor and ask him if he required an endoscopy and if he does do it with plenty time.

Well I am three weeks post op and have lost only 12.4 pounds. I am doing everything I am supposed to. But my clothes do feel lose so I am loosing inches thats for sure. I only walking will start some other exercise nest week something like zumba. Good luck to everyone.

I was sleeve on may 6 have lost 13 pounds pre op and 12.4. So a total of 25.4 pounds. I need to increase water intake and exercise more. Now I am having trouble with constipation it bothers me a lot. I just purchase miralax today so I will be posting my reaults.

Thats actually one of the reasons I did not told anyone about my surgery becuase I did not want anyone asking me how much have I lost.

I am glad ke88 that everything went fine and I think your doctor is right we should not compared to other people because everyone is different. We should just keep going and doing our best.

Hope everything goes well with your doctor visit. I have mine a week ago. And next apointment will be In three weeks. Hoping to lose more. I am not perfect and I know I have eat things I should not. For example yesterday I went with my daughter to the ice cream store and got two baby size ice cream one for her and one for me. I did not finish my cone and neither my daughter, but to be honest I did not felt guilty because I enjoy and it was just a few spoons. That made me think that before I will eat a medium size or even a large size cone which now sounds crazy to me.

Hi k8ee, how are you doing. Look I have being eating tuna, soups, and some scramble eggs but they dont go down so well so I try to avoid them except when I made them for my daughter. I am drinking my shake once a day sometimes two when I have not eating that well. I do feel satisfy when I eat chicken I cutting it really small and I just shew many times before I eat it. Daily intake around 52 g of protein. And only 32 on of water. I need to drink more water.
