My problem is that I've really been accessing this from my phone most of the time, and the new beta of the app still doesn't let me access posts from private groups. I'm still here, though!

I was wearing 54 DDD Playtexwhen I started losing, but I now know I was measuring wrong. Now I am wearing 42 GG. Went through a 46 K in between. Read it and weep, girls - I hope I get down to a 36 C!

Amazing...what an in great milestone to reach!! Keep up the great work. How long did this milestone take to reach?
I attended my first informational meeting on May 5, 2012. I lost 60 lbs in 10 months pre-surgery. Surgery was February 12, 2013. I've lost 90 additional pounds on just over 7 months since then. I know I'm not the fastest loser on here, but I am confident that I will be able to keep it going until I reach my goal!

I agree - sounds like a possible UTI. Any pain when urinating? Difficulty doing so?
-
Also - I find sometimes I forget and take too big a bite, or don't chew enough and get that feeling.

Today I received the results of my first Hemoglobin A1C test since my surgery, nearly 4 months ago. I was taken off 2 different oral medications for the diabetes when I got out of the hospital - 2000 mg/day of Metformin XR and 45 mg/day of Actos. After over 3 months off meds, my level was 6.0% - lower than it's ever been, and actually within the normal range! Woo hoo!!!
Added June 11 - I took my measurements yesterday. I've lost 10 inches in my hips and a full foot (yes, 12 inches!) In my waist since the end of last July. As of this morning, I'm down 120 lbs since starting my program in May, 2012, 60 of those since surgery on February 12, 2013. Double Woo hoo!

I've been stalled for over 3 weeks now - getting frustrated. At least I have lost 54 lbs since surgery on 2/12.

Okay Everyone! We've gotten the beta version up and ready for ya'll to start testing. You'll notice a new feedback forum on the home page' date=' which you can use to download the application, and keep us updated as to how your testing is going.
You can download the application here. If you have any questions about getting it installed, just let us know in that topic.
If you're unable to access the page, you may have to log out and log back in.
Thanks a million!!!!!!!
I tapped your link and it took me to the page to download the app, but it seems like it was what I already have installed and have been using?!?! The play store page said "open" or "uninstall" when I went there, and it opened as usual when I chose "open". When it opens it is version 1.3.18.
When I use the link to go to the full site on my phone and log in, it says I don't have permission to view this topic.

I'm very interested! Please include me. I am tech savvy, (and a math teacher, lol,) if that helps!
I have a Motorola Razr with the latest update to the OS.

Don't worry' date=' you won't have to read my posts much longer.[/quote']
I would really miss reading your posts, OTR. :-&

My doctor flat out told me not to have a baby until I get better control of my diabetes. It's has been a struggle to control my sugar. Mom hoping this tool would help me a great deal.Lots of good reasons your doc told you that, though. Uncontrolled high blood sugar can cause many complications in a pregnancy. In particular, the baby will produce excess insulin, which is also a growth hormone, and make the baby get larger than average. My diabetic grandmother gave birth to a 14 pounder! At home!
Glad you're getting it all under control!

It seems like I stall for 1-2 weeks each month (always including the week Aunt Flo is visiting, going up and down 3-4 lbs that week), but I've pretty consistently lost an average of 16-18 lbs each month. I've decided it's just how my weight loss works.

Also try waiting a little while between bites. I know it's difficult when you feel really hungry, but it will pass quickly.
I get hungry too! My Dr. And Nut both seemed surprised by that.

I love it and have no problems with it. Been eating it since 2 mos out.

I recently had a major problem with the battery on my phone draining way too quickly right after my OS updated on my Motorola Razor phone. They had me uninstall all of my Zinga apps because the new OS didn't communicate well with them , and told me I shouldn't re-download them until they're updated to be compatible with the new OS. This helped a little, but my battery was still dying from a full charge in about 8 hours, so they replaced my phone. Fortunately, it was still under warranty.

My top weight was 450. Lost 60 per surgery in 10 months. Have lost 54 since surgery in 3 months. I'm very happy with my progress so far!

There is some truth to heavier people lose faster, because they have a higher base metabolic rate (BMR). This is a generalization, however - everyone is different. I had my 3 month follow up today and they weighed me on the body analyzer scale. Since 1 year ago, I've lost 91 lbs of fat, 110 lbs total. My BMR has gone down over 400 Calories per day since then, which means I'd have to eat 400 calories a day less now to lose at the rate I did a year ago.
Anybody regretted it, even with no complications?

GIVE IT TIME!! It DOES get better, especially once you can have solid food again. The only thing I regret is that I allow myself to 'graze' too often, so I am only maintaining at 150 lbs lost instead of losing. I am 5 years out from a vertical sleeve gastrectomy, with no complications.
