About Me

I feel like this is an online dating profile...

Not that I have experience with that...

Heh.

I'm Five ft nothing and Feisty as can be. I am hoping the sleeve and my hard work will help eliminate that other "F" word... Fat.

I've never been much of a joiner, but then again 'doing me' hasn't worked thus far... so I may have said no to a sorority in college, but I am saying a wholehearted 'YES' to you VSGers on this forum.

What I hope to accomplish using this expensive gift to myself:

-comprehend my worth as a person: my weight isn't inversely correlated with my value. thank you therapy for helping me with this goal

-weigh 125ish...obv lose weight

-fit in my sister's clothes. that b**** is tiny even after two kids!

-keep up...hell, lead!...an adventure week in Europe: I'm talking kayaking, rock climbing, cycling, hiking all trekking through a Europe spot. Haven't picked a place yet...suggestions?? If I get to my goal then I am giving the trip to myself as a medical school graduation gift in May/June of 2014.

-fit into an off-the-rack petite suit for my residency interview in November, 2013

-to not have children in south america call me "gordita"

-to not have to always be the 'funny and cute' one when I'm out with my girlfriends...to not receive the back-handed compliment "you have such a pretty face" ever again.

-to meet a man who sees all sides of me b/c I let him and b/c he wants to. thanks again therapy!

-to be able to speak with authority and experience about weight loss with my patients. And to encourage them without feeling like a hypocrite.

-curl up in an airplane seat like I did back in the day. I'm short...it's possible.

I'd love to hear your goals. Now we just have to band together to accomplish these goals. So get up. Yeah you. Get up and go work out. :-)
