SO you wanna know who I am....

Ok well,Let me start off by saying that I am Egyptian. Not like the kind that wears the black robes and does that tongue thingy; I was born in America in Texas and although I lived in Egypt for a part of my life, when I came back to America I was raised Southern Baptist, in Florida. How odd right? LOL well that is just me. I am more American that most people think. At 15, I was adopted by a Puerto Rican family. So I have a lot of mixed cultures in me

I joined the U.S. Navy when I was 19 and served 4 years. Since then, I have been working in Chicago and as an expat in Japan but recently moved to San Diego. I am a mother of 4 kids (2 girls and 2 boys). I have a B.S. in Psychology, an M.B.A. with a concentration in Marketing, and I am trying to finish my PhD. in Business.

I have been trying to have surgery since 2005. I had to jump through a lot of hoops. Moving around a lot didn't help either. In Jan 2006, 1 week prior to my surgery date, I got a call from my surgeon who informed me that my insurance changed it policy and I was no longer eligible and I had to reapply. Fast forward a few years to April 2013 and now you see that I have been sleeved! Along the way I have acquired quite a bit of information regarding WLS and the Vertical sleeve.

I am a happy, cheerful person, and I love to laugh. I think that is it. If you want to know more just ask me.
