    That is awesome!!! Whooo... I will have my WLS some time in march I hope thing go will for me also.Don't let wight loss get you down it's ok might need more water and walking and up the protein.Some times we might have to start at the being again (per op).Keep the good work up also be good to your self..

    Where are the 50s ???

    Hi, I am 54 yrs old all done with menopause at 40yrs old now I am on hormone replacement I am thinking about stop taking my hormones after 14 yrs.I just left my Drs. today and all looks good they are sending my paper work over to my Ins.co.I should get the ok and have my sugary some time in March..So ready to do this. I have been trying to do weight loss surgery for 3 years now, was going for the lap band and change my mine to do the sleeve and at that time my Ins; wouldn't pay for for the sleeve and now they due Yea!! Went shopping today for all my needs for my per op so happy wish I could have done his in my 40's but god giving me my new life at 54yrs.They say the 50's are the new 40's I got a book to day call Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies it has a lot of great advice. I am so glad for this group I need a weight loss buddy would love all the help and advice I can get with my walk with my new life...I am in east Tx.

    Before Pictures & Pre-Op preparing

    I just got back from my DRS. today now they are sending my paper work to my Ins,co. hope to have surgery in March sometime.. You can make your own clear foods.Like chicken soup ect...as for protein I use Whey from Walmart Body Fortress it's good for protein powers. I have gone to YouTube a lot for help and great advice I got lots of sugar free jello,hot tea,soups I know this is going to be the hardest part to do the per-op.I went to the Baby food area at Walmart I got my little Baby cups,spoons,fork,and slippcups and some foods with no cals,fat,sugars free also got the book,Weight Loss surgery for Dummies great book for prepare for surgery and achieve the best results.Do a lot of walking in and out of the hospital it will help with the gas and weight loss good luck to you might take some lip balm with you to the hospital so Happy for you!!!

    can you go back to WW and see if they have any paper work have you every talk to any of your Dr.s about weight you can also give them a list of books you have read. Good Luck

    Gained weight before surgery...

    my Dr has me on a 2 weeks liquid diet before I have surgery.I don't understand why he has done this for you. Go online for per-op diet for Sleeve and see what it has to say and you can talk to your Dr.when you see him. Good Luck..

    Where are the 50s ???

    I am 54yrs old and I am per-per post op,I will know feb-8-13 on my date then I start my per op.I am so ready and yes I think about slaggy skin I was told to drink lots of water and walk,walk,walk will help with the skin. Is there any one out there who lives in the east Texas area would like to have a WLS buddy..

    January 22 Texas surgery patients

    I live in the east Texas (Tyler) area I am per-per op will know feb-8-13 on my date for my WLS. any one in Tyler need a WLS buddy... Stephanie

That is hard for me also to slow slow down I am per per post op I am now setting my IPhone timer so I can slow down it has help some.. and no drinking with meals is hard also.I have been getting lots of protein in. They have a HapIfork on line that helps you to slow down it vibrakes when eatting to fast might order one I also went to Baby spoons it helps some.. .

    I am so glad I found this group I am 53yrs old going to have the sleeve sometime in March I have 100 lbs to loose.I just read Weight Loss surgery for Dummies great book also on youtube have been a lot of help... I know I will have saggy skin also but it's ok.If I will feel better and move with out pain. I have been perparing myself mentally as much as I can.Just trying to get protein in and no sugar my brain is in over load but I am so ready for my new journey.
