KDNetta127 got a reaction from tinesha in Work out weight gain?
yes, this is normal. your body is probably in shock. give it a week and i'm sure you'll start seeing loss again. also adjust your diet a little bit. when we become predictable in our diet and exercise the body gets "bored" and sometimes needs to be caught off guard. also muscle weighs more than fat so...that could also be the cause of the weight gain. but to be honest, your weight can fluctuate 2-3 lbs daily depending on certain factors. i wouldn't be too concerned. good luck and keep up the good work! your efforts will certainly pay off in a big way!

You have to put in the effort also. Remember your sleeve is only a tool. The sleeve will work. You are not a failure. Don't give in because it is too early to say that. Eat your Protein first and remember to get in your fluids. Stop eating things that you shouldn't. If you do, then you will set up yourself for failure later. You are definitely going to lose weight because you can't eat the amount you used to, but you need to do it right. Try to eat the right things instead of the wrong things. Message me if you have any questions. I had the surgery a year ago and have lost 106 lbs and am still losing. I have messed up along the way, and I have learned from it. Good luck.

Started at 5'0" 205 now 145. Would like to lose 10-15 more but heyyyy I'm happy and I feel alot better! If I do good ...if I don't o well. Plus I'm KEEPING it off! Never could do that on my own! If I was diligent about exercise and what I eat I'm sure I get t off but I never wanted to feel like I was on a NEVER ENDING DIET I wanted to feel normal and I DO. mission accomplished! Here's a pic of my little black dress that my hubby bugged me for 3 days to go back to the mall and get after I tried it on and sent him this pic. Lol.

i chose the sleeve due to less complications. i almost opted for the lap-band but didn't because i didn't want to deal with the adjustments, etc that come along with it. i think it really depends on how much weight you need to lose. i felt i could lose 100 lbs with the sleeve. if i had more to lose than that, i probably would have opted for bypass. good luck!

you must remember that muscle weighs more than fat. i know it's hard not to become fixated on the scale but we need to refrain from weighing daily to weekly or every other. your body is probably adjusting. plus you have to eat more when working out as long as your selecting the healthier options you should be fine. you will get over this hump!

Most everyone will hit a stall. Just keep with the program. Get in your Protein and fluids. In the beginning when i would hit a stall, I would add a few extra calories to my diet. and that always seemed to jump start my weight loss. As soon as the weight was moving again, I would go back to eating fewer calories. Now, I work out a little harder at the gym and that works for me...I think our bodies get accustom to what we're doing, and we need to shake it up a little.

Hi people, my friends call me Mal, I seeked out doctors to discuss if I qualified for the surgery. The last 5 years I suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis, sleep Apnea, High Blood Pressure and Type 2 Diabetes. I was a body builder before being hit with all this and the most I weighed was 220. I got up to 265 pounds which is the heaviest I ever been. I knew how to get the weight off from my experiences of competing as a body builder but I became limited in the gym, not being able to do anything without severe pain in my joints. If it wasn't for the Arthritis I could have shed the extra pounds with no problem. Although most patients get the surgery for being considerably overweight or obese, I found out from watching a special on CNN, Dr. Oz show and others about how the surgery when done sends Diabetes into remission immediately. Before the surgery I took 5 shots a day through the stomach of Insulin and 12 different pills a day. Since surgery I haven't taken one Insulin shot and went from taking 12 pills to 3 per day. I have lost 11 pounds in one week and I'm feeling much better and more healthier. I highly recommend anyone that's suffering from Diabetes and can't get there weight down to get this surgery if you can. I have no regrets.
