    Need some encouragement!

Thanks, everyone! I appreciate the responses!
  3. Hello, everyone! I was sleeved in December and have lost 50 pounds since then. I'm proud of what I've accomplished, but feel like I'm losing so slowly. I do everything I'm supposed to do when it comes to diet and exercise, but my stalls last for weeks at a time and I'm now feeling very discouraged and depressed. Any words of wisdom for me? I'd also love to hear success stories from those who started in the 320-330 range and are now in Onederland! Please help perk up my Saturday night, fellow sleevers! Thanks!
  4. You look great! Very inspirational!

    Anyone tried Forte Gelato?

I just heard about Forte brand high Protein gelato. It comes 4-oz cups (one serving) and contains 15 grams of protein per serving. 1.5 grams of saturated fat, 20mg of cholesterol, 70mg of sodium. 160 cals per serving for the vanilla. 18g of sugars. The Forte website says it's good for people recovering from surgery. Has anyone tried this gelato? I'm thinking about ordering some (not to eat every day, just now and then), but it's expensive. My nutritionist wants me to up my calories to break my stall. I've never been a sweets person, so having this around isn't going to derail my weight loss goals, but I would like more options when it comes to protein. Thanks!

    Weight loss for 300+ sleevers!

I'm 5'6" and was 331 pounds at my highest weight in mid-2012. I was 316 pounds on the day of my surgery (12/20/12). I have been 297 or 298 pounds (depending on the day, aaargh) since 1/18/13. I am doing everything I'm supposed to do, but I can't break this stall. I've also been trying to concentrate on NSVs instead of what the scale says, but I have been feeling very discouraged and depressed for a couple of days. I know I shouldn't compare my weight loss to others' losses, but that's hard to do sometimes. Thanks to everyone who posted their amazing progress! Your posts are inspiring and got me out of the dumps today. I'm sure I'll look back on this month and laugh once I'm six months post-op.
