I NEED SO MUCH HELP!!! I'M 12 DAYS POST OP. I DO NOT FEEL GOOD. I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO APPITITE!!! I'M SUPPOSED TO BE EATING 5 SMALL MEALS A DAY DRINKING 32 OZ OF Water AND TAKING ALL MY VITAMINS!! I CAN NOT STAND TO CHEW MY MULTI Vitamin AND TO BE HONEST I HAVE NOT TAKIN IT IN 5 DAYS. I ALSO CANNOT GET ENOUGH Protein. I CAN'T STAND THE powder. IS THERE OTHER WAYS TO GET IT?? I JUST FEEL LIKE THINGS WILL NEVER BE NORMAL AGAIN. I KNOW IT'S ONLY BEEN 12 DAYS BUT I HATE THIS FEELING AND ON TOP OF THAT THE DR IS MAKING ME STOP MY XANEX AND TRYING ANOTHER MED THAT MAKES ME JUST WANT TO sleep. I JUST NEED ADVICE LITS IF ADVICE!!!

Ok I see my mistake now, they were saying 1 large egg is equil to 50 grams, by weight. My bad. But I'm still not drinking that powder. And I can't afford all that other stuff.

I still haven't gotten any of my Protein. I'm 13 days post op. The powder is nasty. I've been drinking slim fast which have 10 grams but I can only drink half at a time. I'm afraid I'm gonna end up hurting my progress ifvi dint start getting it in. People have given lots of advice but I'm just stuck.

Couple more days!! I know your excited. I didn't have the best first week as far as pain goes. I'm a wimp. Also I had no apitite which is to be expected, but please please drink plenty of fluids, I let myself get dehydrated and I started to swell and get sick. Now I'm better. I actually ate some refried Beans this weekend, they were so go with some sour cream but I could only eat about 3 spoons full. I have never been full in my life and now I can't believe that two-three bites puts me over full. Lol I love it. Good luck and keep us posted!!

I Sept 18th. I'm in Georgia, I'm so anxious!! Would love some last minute advise from those who have already gone through it. Good luck with yours.

You look so good!! Thanks for sharing. I hope I can put it all out there like you. I want to encourage people.

My advice is walking through the pain it helped me greatly. I only had major pain on Day 2. I took my pain meds every six hours. I am on day 5 post-op.

So I'm getting ready for my pre op appt at Emory in Atlanta!!! I'm so excited. It's so close I can hardly stand it!! 6 more days till surgery!!!! I want to thank God for allowing me to have this great opportunity, without his grace, this would not be possible!!!

You are a beautiful person and very special to share this. The saggy skin is a small price to pay for being healthy, living a new life and look at your smile. You look amazing. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the photos - they really help the newbies like me. We ALL get jiggly and saggy as we get older, irregardless of any weight loss along the way. You truly do look awesome and you probably feel sooo much better!

OK I'M ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF AWAY FROM CHATT. Have you had your surgery yet?

I had very little pain afterward. I was up and walking a few hours after surgery and only used the pain meds they gave me for about a day and a half. Used liquid Tylenol for a couple of days after that. Most people I know that have had this surgery laparoscopically experienced minimal pain. One friend who had to have an open surgery experienced a bit more pain and was on pain meds for about five days.

I had none and took myself off my pain meds 2 days after surgery.

Oh gosh I'm sorry they made you feel like that. You are right; I think it's just as hurtful to be ignored as it is to get negative attention.
But to answer your question:Why would people ignore someone until they become socially acceptable?
People can f****ing suck sometimes.
