That is great!! I had/have the same problem with my Patient Advocate! She told me that she submitted my paperwork on February 6 but after many calls to the insurance company and emails to my PA and Surgeon, my paperwork was submitted on February 21st! My surgeon emailed me last week an said that I would hear from his office before the week ended. But I did not hear from anyone! Surprisingly I got an email last night from my surgeon to follow up to see if I had heard from anyone in his office, and I told him NO! He was not happy! So hopefully I will hear something soon! Just though I would give an update...I received an email thus evening from my surgeon asking had I heard from his office and had to tell him No! I hope something is done about his staff! Because he is an amazing surgeon! Sent from my iPhone using VST

Yea the lady at the insurance said that it normally takes about 72 hours to get an answer. I am also with Anthem BCBS of GA. Just hope I actually get approved in 72 hours! Lol Sent from my iPhone using VST

Oh my gosh! I called the insurance tonight and guess what.....THEY HAVE RECEIVED MY INFORMATION!!! And they have submitted for March 18th!!! So now I have to wait for the approval!
