    I was told 64 oz combined protein and liquid...although all protein is liquids at this point. So similar to what you were told.
  3. I have a low grade fever, but it may be just a virus I caught from my 4 year old who was sick when I came home from the hospital. Walked 30 minutes at 1.5 mph on neighbor's treadmill nonetheless. Not feeling great because of fever, but not in any serious pain,either.

    I think my big concern with eating in the liquid-pureed phase (right after surgery) is that the protein options are limited. And, I have discovered that I really don't like the protein drinks or the whey powders. So, I keep eating greek yogurt, cottage cheese and soup made with milk. I enjoy all these things normally, but not so much under the circumstances.

    For me, soft foods start around week three, but they told us to take it slow. Better to ease into each phase than to rush a phase.

    I got the same info as you. No tuna. No beans etc until soft food phase.

    We don't have CVS where I live. The junior chewables sounds like a possibility. I appreciate all the feedback on that one.
  8. Well...if it makes you feel better I am not using any of the fancy stuff now. I have to take synthroid for my thyroid. That is a problem that will never go away regardless of weight loss. I have an autoimmune problem called Hashimoto's. Any way grinding up pills and putting them in other things just tastes nasty. I am really surprised that you had to ask for prescription pain meds when they released you from the hospital, though.
  9. I don't know what to say about surgery-induced hypertension. Is that something you can google?
