I am a 42 year old mom of 3 great kids. I have been married for almost 28 years to a very wonderful man. I have been on diets since I was 19 years old after I had my twin girls. I have lost weight and always seemed to put it back on and more. When I turned 31 , I had to have a full hysterectomy due to some problems. Since that age I have had trouble losing weight. Only a few pounds would come off and then would gain back what seemed to be tripled. I have wanted this surgery for about 10 years , but always scared of going under the knife again. I am also a very slow loser because of hormones ( I do not take anything ) so I continue this weight loss fight every day. I have hit many stalls and plateaus , this being the longest one so far ( since October 2013) and it is hard not to just give up. The one best thing about these stalls and plateaus is I am learning a whole other level of patience. I believe one day I will hit goal , even if it takes me a couple of years to get there.
