    Weight loss at 4 Months

I appreciate your response! My doc actually made me feel like it should have been more at my 3 month follow up appt. He said losing 40 lbs wasn't bad but would he have wanted me to lose 50 or 60 lbs, yes! So that's why I'm questioning it. My starting weight was 322, current weight 282. Highest was 354, so I have lost 72 lbs total in the last 10 months and 40 of those since surgery in November

    Weight loss at 4 Months

Thanks so much for responding! I have lost 50 including the 2 week preop diet. I just want this to work so badly it scares me to think it won't. I'm going to lower the my carb intake and increase protein. Maybe that will help. My doc wasn't disappointed at my 3 month follow up but he did say he wish I would have lost more and that by my next visit in 3 months I should have lost 30 lbs or more.

    Weight loss at 4 Months

When was your surgery? How much have you lost?
  4. Hi! What was your weight loss at 4 months? I'm down 40 lbs and just feel like it's going slowly and so worried I won't lose anymore or a lot. I know that sounds silly but I'm just nervous about failing/ I know I need to increase my exercising. Any tips or help will be greatly appreciated

    The Stall From Hell

Thank you all!!! I really do appreciate it! I'm trying my best to start thinking more positive! My husband has been such a great support and every time I start feeling down because the scale isnt moving, he's right there trying to encourage me. I'm just scared of failure and getting on the scale makes me feel like one, even though I know I'm following the plan. I'm starting to think I'm not eating enough even though I make sure I get my Protein goal of 60 a day. I will keep moving forward. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    The Stall From Hell

Hello! Do you mind sharing your food plan and exercise routine? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App For breakfast Monday through Friday I have a Premier Protein shake lunch Monday through Friday I buy a package of Oscar Meyer carving board ham and turkey and divide them into five baggies for the week dinner Monday, Wednesday and Friday is two chicken tenderloins. I dip them in an egg and breadcrumbs and fry them with some extra virgin olive oil. Dinner Tuesday is breaded shrimp, usually 6 shrimp, and dinner Thursday is breaded cod, two pieces but they are small pieces. I buy the shrimp and fish frozen at Sam's Club. Saturday is a bit of a wild card. I go a little off course and eat something not totally healthy. Only one meal though. Typically it is two breakfast burritos at McDonalds. (They still have 13 grams of protein a piece) Dinner is up in the air. Usually chicken of some sort. Sunday I'm back to the protein shake and lunch meat and then I make a little Pasta. I get the Creamette 150 Penne. Usually eat about half of a 10 ounce box with a little can of tomato sauce. Exercise is mostly bike riding. I really do need to start weight training. I ride for 30 minutes before work. I also have the luxury of working from home so I get on my bike for 30 minutes during lunch and if I have time, I may even go for another 30 minutes before bed. So far my stalls have only been when I lose only 3 pounds in a week. If I do some other activities in the week, I can get up in the 7 pound range but I have been consistently around 4-5 pounds per week. Now take into consideration I started at well over 400 pounds so losing 5-7 pounds is nothing at that weight. I am down into the 270's now and just lost 6 pounds this past week but I was pretty active working on remodeling my house. Thanks so much!! I need to figure something out! I eat pretty much the same thing everyday as well! I haven't been able to exercise which was just walking because I pulled a muscle in my abdominal wall doing too much too soon so my doctor has me not even walking right now because of the pain. I'm just so nervous that the tool won't benefit me. When I started this journey I was 351 so I have lost 50 lbs but the yo yoing on the scale is driving me insane. I just want to get out of these horrid 300's and finally see progress from all of my hard work Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    The Stall From Hell

Hello! Do you mind sharing your food plan and exercise routine? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. Hello everyone! I'm hoping to get some encouragement and support as I'm becoming very discouraging. I had gastric sleeve on 11/3 and I have lost 21 lbs. PreOP 351, SW 322, CW 301-302. I have not lost weight in what seems like 1-2 weeks and now everyday I'm teetering between 301 and 302. Is this normal? Will the stall ever break? Anything I can do to help it break? I know everyone's journey is different but I've been doing everything I'm suppose to do and this is just so frustrating and discouraging. It really has me wondering will this work Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Feeling something stuck in my throat

@@thebabeupproject Papaya Enzymes, you can find them at Walmart in the Vitamin section. If it is a piece of meat/protein that maybe you didn't properly chew then the enzymes will help the meat break down and digest. They are a lifesaver! I carry a bottle with me everywhere I go and keep a bottle home. Discovered them about 2 weeks ago when I was experiencing the same thing you are. It wasn't painful just uncomfortable Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
