Yea me!! I been the same weight for like a month now... The scale is not moving... I eat soooooo much.. Like every 1hr on the 1hr I'm hungry.. Nothing is working... I only lost 40lbs since my surgery which was on 2/4/13 I feel the same I feel no difference I lost so much of my hair it's depressing... I wear wigs now... U not alone... I just don't no what to do
Eat Protein to kill hunger and resist the temptation to eat every hour.

Please write your weight on the day of surgery also to let others get a better idea of your progress. Because starting weight is very important criteria to gauge your success.

I am 2. But surgery has helped me a lot. Just go for it.

Our starting numbers are very similar. It's hard to say why people with such similar numbers have different results. I focus primarily on getting in high Protein and low carbs. I go for 900 calories a day, at least 80 grams protein, and pretty much as few net carbs as possible(also try to get a minimum of 15 fiber a day which can be challenging while keeping carbs down). I am a paramedic by profession so I keep fairly active, and I try to get to the gym at least 5 times a week(doing 30 minutes cardio and 30 minutes strength when I am there). This is the best description of what I have found works for me, hopefully listing it can help others to get similar results.
Thanks ! I think I am taking too many calories 1500+. I have a problem that I am a vegetarian so can't eat lean meats. Please tell what was your weight on the date of surgery ?

Me too , always hungry and willing !

87 pounds down in 6 months is great! your body needs some time to catch up and tighten, iam almost 6 months out and only 70 pounds down! Just keep drinking your Water and eating Proteins and try working out more often and your weight will start going down again. Or maybe try cutting down your calorie intake for one day maybe that will make the scale move again. Dont worry i once was in a stall for a whole month and now am on another stall.. Good luck!!
Your starting weight was quite low !

The initial weight loss in first month along with your ecstatic state of mind will make all the naysayers irrelevant, believe me !

No secret. I just walk and exercise everyday and eat Protein and veggies.
How much exercise precisely ?

Stupendous weight loss. You are obviously doing something right. Your secrets please ? What was your weight on the date of surgery.

Please update your profile.

I can wear my 10 year old clothes.
-
What are the secrets to your great success ?
-
I think in all posts on forums like this You should give only " Weight on the day of Surgery " and "weight as on today "
-
Walk for a few minutes every hour. It will improve everything.

I take "ON's" "Platinum Hydro Whey". Very easy to mix and their choclate flavour is great. Only 140 calories for 30 gms of Protein. Slightly expensive though.

Before VSG I had fatty liver and Alkaline Phosphate Levels of 150 +. One month after surgery it came down to 120. I started having Protein shakes (Platinum Hydro whey - 30 gms Proteins per day). After 3 months, it has again risen to 150+. All other reports are normal. Is something wrong with me ?
Thanks for your responses in advance.
