  1. I'm about 6 1/2 months out. I have had alcohol once and I haven't had a single bowl of cereal since I was sleeved. Nobody can make you drink and eat that stuff except for you. The sleeve doesn't make you change your eating habits--you do that. Remember the part about not drinking when you eat? You can't eat cereal with milk--same thing. You're just diluting the cereal down, it's passing straight through and you get hungry quicker. I strongly suggest meeting with a dietician. Your physician should have provided you with a meal plan. I lost hair between 3 and months. You should be taking a multi-vitamin, vit D, Vit B12 and Calcium at the very least. You should be eating 60+ grams of Protein a day. Stop buying cereal. You will not be able to eat like you used to and keep the weight off. I'm down 77 lbs and I still cheat every now and then. I keep chocolate chips in the freezer so I get a crunchy/sweet snack sometimes. I eat pretzels ( I count out 10) when I want something salty. Stop buying cereal. If it's not there, you won't be able to eat it. Don't even go down the cereal aisle. And lay off the partying for awhile. There are plenty of things you can enjoy without alcohol. My diet plan is basically 3-4 oz of protein 3 times a day. I can have a low-carb veg if I'm still hungry AFTER eating the protein. I stay between 500-800 calories a day. Sometimes I still do a Protein shake at Breakfast. I eat around 20 grams of carbs a day. It's really a mindset, changing your attitude about food and developing self-control. You have to do the work--the sleeve only helps you with portion control. There are days I eat crap too. I think probably everyone does sometimes--protein can be boring. Save the crap for special occasions or just the occasional splurge.
  2. After a few bites I'm totally full, even if I felt "starving" before that. I don't look forward to meals anymore. It seems useless to cook anything when I can only eat a tiny bit of it. And the full thing--I start to sneeze when my sleeve gets full. It's my cue to stop, because if I don't, I'll be curled up in the fetal position miserable for an hour or more.
  3. I'm about 10 weeks out. I get frustrated at mealtimes because I can only eat a few bites and then I'm done. I struggle getting in my protein and struggle even harder getting in my fluids. My poor belly cramps up every time I put something into it which makes eating and drinking a battle. I've had an Upper GI to check it all out and everything is fine anatomically. I'm **supposed** to sit down and consume 3 meals of at least 20 grams of protein each. In reality, I eat a few bites of protein at mealtimes and add a couple of snacks (cheese, etc) during the day. There is no way else to get it all in. I'm still doing one 30g Protein shake daily even though I'm supposed to be off of supplements now. I do still get hungry, but that's over in two bites. I am happy with the weight loss of 32 lbs in 10 weeks, but it's really exhausting getting my fluids in, how much protein I'm getting, etc. I think once my stomach starts behaving better I'll be happier. Food just doesn't sit well.

    do u feel full faster

Yes, this kind of full is very uncomfortable, bordering on wanting to barf it up. You have to be very mindful of portion sizes.

    what happens?

Hmm...Now I have a friend who is really thin and she has cellulite...good question. I don't know how you get rid of it!
  6. I stalled out about 3 weeks after surgery and I was MAD!! It lasted for 18 days...then the scale started moving again. I'm 13 pounds down past that first stall and I think I'm hitting another one. That's pretty common, don't sweat it.

    do u feel full faster

Absolutely!! Usually after a few bites. I ate 1/3 of a stuffed cabbage roll the other day and was done. I can eat almost one whole scrambled egg... I had an Upper GI a few days ago, and my stomach is literally the size of a popsicle. Tiny.

    Im new

I guess I expected that when I got home everything would be normal. But I was tired. I'm still on Clear liquids and don't have a ton of energy. I was very irritable (from lack of GOOD sleep, getting blood pressure, temp and/or blood taken every 4 hours). I was fuzzy headed from painkillers...the list goes on...

    Im new

That's exactly how I felt! I am 6 days out and today is the most normal I've felt. I felt like I was living someone else's life. It was weird. Every single day I feel better and more like me. Hang in there!
