    Anyone having trouble with friends?

I lost a friend that I was friends with for 7 years. Many times I thought about going back and talking to her but my final desision is that if I ment so much to her as she did to me she would have tried harder to keep the relationship going. Love your self and don't put up with anyone's crap we are worthy of a normal relationship. It hurts but you have to do what is right for you. It sucks how people are! It still hurts
  4. If it is causing rashes and boils i believe insurance does cover a pannilectomy which removes the excess skin only. you will have to go to your PCP(primary care physician) start there. Once you get to your goal weight and maintain for a while you can get a tummy tuck which isnt covered by insurance and they will tighten your abdominal muscles and remove access skin. good luck
  5. I was sleeved 12-20-2013. I lost 135 pounds in a year and have maintained a range of 152-159 for three months now. I scheduled my breast lift with augmentation on april-29-14. I wanted to get tips from you all out there that have been through it already. How did you prepare for it ? what helped you stay comfortable? what do you wish you knew before you went threw the surgery? any tips are appreciated. Im planning on getting a full anchor lift and 400 cc moderate plus implant.(im not sure about the size yet I might go smaller) thank you
  6. Im 1 year and 2 months post op. Make a plan to eat 800 calories a day and no more! You can make a choice to fill those calories with healthy foods or junk foods. If you choose junk eventually you will feel like crap and be forced to eat better! I ate 800 calories a day the first year and no more than that. This is how I got to goal. If I had a bad day where I ate twinkies chips chocolate I felt sick and drained when I ate well I felt good. Another MAJOR reason for eat the wrong foods is it is there! dont bring it in the house! stock up on salads soups nuts fish beans whole grains. If it isnt there you wont think about it! good luck you are stronger than this feeling inside you, make sure you are taking your multi vitamins and drinking enough water.dehydration can give a sense of false hunger. Be strong!

    Body lift/skin removal

If you get a chronic rash from your skin hanging under your stomach pouch some insurance companies will cover a pannilectomy. which I think is like a tummy luck but they don't liposuction your sides or tighten the muscles in your abdomen which both sculpt your body and give it a nice hourglass shape. Im not sure if your willing to go to mexico but Dr.Sauceda seems to have pretty good results and a fair price compared to USA. Theres also a Dr. Fischer in san antonio. Good luck I really want my plastics done to but $$ is an issue

It was fun enjoy your food funeral You will be able to eat all the foods you love after surgery but not for a while and it will be in a much smaller amounts. Have fun and eat that steak! Extremely Discouraged.....

I also forgot to add foods that are good to eat : Low fat cheeses and cheese sticks, cottage cheese, Greek yogurts , milk low fat , shrimp, fish, lean beef, chicken, turkey, lentils,Beans, nuts, vegetables. You are still early and may not not be able to tolerate but small amounts of these foods take it day by day and slowly. Dont use dressing that are high fat like ranch ,butter milk. Use olive oil with vinegar and garlic for salad dressing if you like. Stay away from: chips, pies, ice cream, candy, pop, basically high calorie fat foods they will sabotage your diet. You should wait 20 minutes after drinking liquids to eat anything and 45 minutes to an hour after eating to drink liquids. I have purchased a drinking bottle that holds 32 ounces of Water and it really helps to keep track of liquid intake. I also want to advise you to weight your self once a week only and measure once a month too. There were months that I remember not losing much weight but allot of inches! And last but not least measuring cups and a scale will help you stay in check with portion size. I wish you the best of luck and hope this helps

    Extremely Discouraged.....

My advice is if you can get 1000 calories a day in stay at that level. You wont lose as fast but you will lose weight without side effects. Tired fatigued, hair loss, dizziness. I lost my weight at 800 calories a day for the first 9 months. After that I added gradually to 1000-1200. Protein is very important 70 grams a day, liquid 64 ounces a day, take your multivitamins and calcium, exercise if you can. My doctor said I have to stay on 800 calories a day till I reach goal. In order to exercise I had to increase calories. 17 pounds is excellent. Even if it isn't as much as others lose remember its 17 pounds that will never come back(If you stick to a healthy diet).Congratulations on getting the surgery Try not to fret about not losing fast you will get there
