I told my boss I was having a laparoscopic stomach surgery due to an issue with acid reflux. I work at a small law firm, I'm using vaca days and I said if I needed longer I would go on disability. If people notice the weight coming off well ill just say its 2013 and I have a resolution for the new year. You don't have to tell anyone you don't want to know! Good luck! Wow you guys are simply the best!!! Ok not exactly sure if I have a sinus thing or strep etc but I explained to the doctor at the medi center about my upcoming surgery. Long story short she wanted to get me on zpac 5 day antibiotic to be proactive! So other than feeling weak and lazy I'm just Chillen in bed and using the other home remedies you guys suggested! You were in the hospital pumped with fluids via IV, now your home getting as much in. Remember fluids will leave your body as you get more in. Give it time! You will do amazingly!! I had a section in 2006, tummy tuck in 2008, while I made the mistake of getting the surgery prior to getting rid of all of my excess weight, it did help me in the gym bc I worked out better w/o having to look down and see that pouch of skin. However, my main piece of advice is to make sure you have a great doctor! Mine had to revise twice in his office and it still looks terrible, never flat! I went for a second opinion for revision and the doctor agreed if he did that surgery he would have been disappointed and fixed it the right way. So all in all get a good doc! I'm scheduled for 12/26, but from the support on here, look at it like this......if there is pain or discomfort it's only for a few days. Compare a few possible difficult days to a lifetime of miserable days with 4 beautiful children. Once you have your surgery, think of the amazing days you will have with your kids. Had mine last week! It was actually relaxing! No prep like a colonoscopy. Nice staff taking care of you. Got some good medicine to take a nap and tested when I got home. You will be fine!! Sent from my iPhone using VST
