Amen! Weightloss surgery for some will never fix all the issues that some have.

It would be nice if a FAQ thread could be highlighted in RED and listed at the top of the FORUM page that is alway viewable. This might reduce daily multiple repeated questions and help new and old members search common questions and topics.

Take her with you to a dr. Appt she can ask these same questions and the surgeon can answer them.

The nicotine patch has nicotine in it so you will have to be free of nicotine for how ever many days your doc requires you to be. I don't know anything about the e-cig.
You may want to call the office and just ask the general question of whether the dr requires his patients to quit smoking and if so how many days before. Then get your butt busy making that gaol

I had that problem. I drink a Protein Shake, it is very filling.

I'm currently having Minoxidil applied by my stylist weekly, and it does seem like there is less shedding, but I'm not quite sure if it is as a direct result of the product or my body getting accustomed to the weight loss. You must find out if the surgeon has special training in bariatric surgery. It should be in their bio. Absolutely do not let a general surgeon without training work on you. All of them are general surgeons so can fix any complications. But if they aren't trained in bariatric s you are playing Russian roulette. I'm a physician and see all the complications, so should know

As with anything involving insurance companies it will vary depending on your plan. Some policies don't cover based on not covering surgery, other policies will cover, so the only way to actually know is to ask the insurance company. If you call them they should answer your question then you will know for sure.
