    stall and basic

I am going crazy with my stall ... it has been 3 months since the scale moved , I had heard of people complianing about this in the past and I always thought to myself , "Maybe they are cheating or over eating " well now it's me . I don't know whats going on , I lost 50 lbs and i am happy with that but now i dont know what to do . I know that I am eating more but I also know that I am not over eating ..... I am not pushing myself more than I should .... but I am eating wheat bread , brown rice .... lots of water mellon and southwest salads....I am doing great with my vitamins ( got them all in gummies) I had never really excerised a whole lot maybe 2-3 days a week ,,,At work I move around alot ! I am an Infant & tot teacher ,so i am on the floor all day long , moving and stretching . I don't what to imagine that I went through all this so it stops now .... I was 237 , now 188 ... my goal is 140 ... and it seems that I will not reach my goal . I am still fat .

I am feeling so down .... I don't understand what's going on . I had my surgery Nov 13 , 2012 .. I lost about 50 lbs , but i have come to a complete stop . I have not lost a single ounce for about 3 months ..... people told me that maybe i wasnt eating enough ,,, but I know that i am not over eating and not under eating .... I am so deprssed that I threw out my scale . Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee help ! has anyone gone through this ?? by this time I should have lost more. It is very very sad to think that I went through all of this , and although i have lost 50 lbs ... I am still looked on as fat .

Crazy Hungry n not feeling full...? Anyone?

I had my surgery on Nov 13 , 2012 and only in the last 3 months or so , I have had the same feeling as you . Now that i can tolarate more food , I also find myself eating more, craving sweets and when I am moody craving salty stuff like cashews . I have lost about 57 lbs , and happy about it .... but for about 2 months the scale has not moved an inch, holding at 180 lbs. and at this point I am getting worried.

    Head hunger gone

Helppppppppp ! I am 5 months post op and it seems just the opposite for me , I am happy with my weight loss so of 57 lbs, but for the past month the scale has not moved from 180lbs , my doctor is happy with my weight loss and after talking to the nurtitionist and telling her that I seem to get hungry more often and I am able to take in more food , she said that , thats the goal and that I am doing fine. BUT! I don't feel fine with that, any tips on how to jump start my weight loss again ?

Did something I probably shouldn't have

Dont feel bad , I think that we have all cheated including myself .. as long as your aware of it and control yourself .

    Bad Scale! Bad Bad Scale!

I hated the scale before the sleeve and still hate it . I was sleeved on Nov 13 , 2012 . start weight was 237 current 182-184 , The first month after my surgery I was addicted to weighing my self everyday and it was exciting to see the lbs drop. By the second month , It was driving nuts when I had stalls , to the point that I just decided to put the scale away only weigh myself every 2 weeks and that gave me some peace of mind . But............................... in the last 2 weeks i have fallen back to the obssesion of the scale and its driving me nuts again , some days the scale says 180 , another day is 184 . Over all I am happy with my weigh loss.

    My time is now....

Reading your story is like reading my own , I was sleeved Nov 13 , 2012 . I have lost about 54 lbs . Start weight 237 . I am exactly in the same senerio as you . Losing all this weight is a wonderful feeling , I also see some loose skin , I am ashamed to admit that I have not gone to the gym since my surgery , I am doing horrible with my water intake , I am lousy with my vitamins ( forget all the time) . I also have to commit to doing more on my part .

    NOT DOING WELL

I find this hard to believe ( Not saying that your lying ) I had my surgery Nov 13 , 2012 . I am 44 yrs old , so my weight loss is not like that of a younger person . In about 4 months I have lost 52 lbs and God is my witness that , I have not gone to the gym once , and admit to cheating here and there , I have snuck in a 4 pc chicken nugget happy meal ( - the soda) I have had chocolate here and there but I stop as soon as my stomache tells me to and i never push in more . I know that if i went to gym and avoid some of the things i am eating , I would probably have lost more weight , so this is the reason I find it hard to believe. I hope that you get a reasonable explination for why your not losing .

    Hi there, emotional basketcase here.....

I am 3 1/2 months post op , and I seem to get to easily worked up , I am by nature a person that stress about alot of things , but after my surgery I feel that my mood swings have gotten worst, I also had a full hystorectomy in late july ( before my sleeve) so I feel my hormones all out of wack. I am also more emotional , I can easily cry to a song or movie is I am alone.
  12. Wow , you look great ! may I be as forward to ask you how much did the tummy tuck cost you ? I was sleeved on Nov 13 , 2012 , my start weight was 237 and i have lost 51 lbs so far and I can already tell that my belly is going to be the problem. Once I reach my goal of 140 lbs , I want to also have a tummy tuck , but I don't know if I will be able to afford it .
  13. I was sleeved on Nov 13 , 2013 , so appoximatly 3 1/2 months post op . My start weight was 237 , Day of surgery 222 and as of this morning 185 . I found that the first 2 1/2 months , I was much like you after just a few bites and I was so full that if i took another bit ,I ended up throwing up but with the creamy or chunky soups I never had a problem eating a full cup . I find that with time , I can hold down more food but I don't know if that's good or not , because I have a sense of guilt . I don't push myself I have always known when to stop . This past month I have been craving hearty meals and I seem more hungry more frequent . I am not to worried because my weight lose seems steady 51- 52 lbs in 3 1/2 months is pretty good.

    First restaurant experience

i never order anything anymore when we go out for dinner , I usually take a little bit from my husbands plate .
  15. I think that we have all been there, I found myself doing the same on sunday ... I love middle eastern food , Kababs , hummus , rice , bread , my husband took me out for dinner , I orderd my food , knowing of course that I could only take a few bites and I was gonna take the left overs home ( which would be the entire plate ) . I took a few bites at the restaurant , I was full after like 4-5 .... took the rest to go , later that evening I opend the cooler and took the food out again , and took a few more bites , did it twice . I have done pretty good since I was sleeved Nov 13 , 2012 .... lost 47 lbs , but in the past 2 weeks or so , I been feeling hungry more frequently , I am trying to have self control by carrying with me some sugar free peach cups 60 cal , but I wonder if its actual cravings or all in the mind.
