Dr. Guillermo Alvarez has had a cpl young patients I believe. And he is one of the best in Mexico. He has written a book and has videos on you tube that you can check out. Endobariatrics.com is his site. You contact them with all your info and they will get back to you. I believe they charge $8750. If my child truly needed this surgery I would do it. I have 3 children of different ages and 2 step children. If any of then needed this I would do it. But each child is different and you definitely have to take their personality and emotional matureness into this equation. I hope you are able to find the right answer for her. All we are doing during each visit is making goals getting ready for surgery an starting new habits. Each visit we target a bad behavior and begin something new. On the 1st visit I was supposed to stop sodas before my next visit and start a Multivitamin. 2nd visit I was supposed to stop eating Pasta rice and bread and begin walking. 3rd visit Portion Control, trying to stop going back for seconds. And sticking to 3 meals with small healthy Snacks. 4th visit we will see......and so on until the last visit. But at each visit I have been told do not go below such and such....its all about getting ready for the surgery and showing you can create new healthy habits and stick to them through maintenance. Create a new lifestyle.

My BMI was 36. Now it's 24.4 Normal. I started at 199 and am now 138. At 4 1/2 months out. I have begun adding cals to slow the wgt loss down. This is what my NUT has instructed me to do. It has slowed to one lb a week the last 2 weeks. I have 8 lbs to goal. I don't think I will have a problem stoping the wgt loss.

It really is amazing lotion BUT I don't think anything will prevent loose skin. Firming lotions tighten minimally but only until you stop using them. If you're going to have loose skin, there's nothing besides surgery that will change that. Unfortunately

I'm excited. Regarding +1s -- I like the idea of the meeting being closed and just for people who have had the surgery and then having special days for friends/families etc where group members know in advance.

I am also gonna add undie pics. Be nice please. Lol. I know my tummy looks bad. I just want some advice. I am at 138. Should I keep going? My docs goal was 130-140. I was thinking 120. But I don't wanna get too skinny. So advice would be much appreciated!!! The first is day of surgery, second a day or so ago.
