Hi Bryan - It's wierd for me - I look forward to food - but then when I start eating it and don't feel good after a few bites there is a let down. I'm getting used to it - but there is a grieving process for sure. You will learn what you can and can't eat - and how much you can eat. Tasting food doesn't change, meaning you can taste anything and have one bit, but you can't overeat like you used to. At least I can't. But food is finding a totally different place in my life. I'm moving so much more - and I have so much more energy that I'm able to get out and do things instead of eat. As for caffein, I have it very, very sparingly. Bryan - this is worth it! Seriously - I have no regrets at all!!!!

I'm 4 weeks out and tried zumba yesterday and my body told me that I wasn't ready for it. My stomach started to cramp while I was doing it so I'm just gonna stick to walking for a couple more weeks.

Yes, I came home this weekend. I'm feeling a little better. I now have to take blood thinners for a year and I'm on pain pills but I try not to take those. Thanks everyone for your prayers. I've been going crazy in that hospital.

Thanks, I'm so happy to be home. No explanation whatsoever. I called yesterday and canceled all my appts coming up with him. I'm looking now for another doctor.

It seems like those that had their surgery late in Sept are losing like crazy. Congrats on that! I'm trying to work on losing the 10 pounds I gained in the hospital. I probably won't meet my goal of 20 lbs lost at my one month. Oh well. I'm just glad to be out the hospital.

I know right. Time has gone by so fast. Hopefully we'll have no more complications.

I started being hungry a week out but nothing like pre op. When I got real hungry before and didn't eat anything I would get weak and sick. After surgery, I would get hungry but could hold out another hour or so before wanting to eat.

Thanks everyone for the prayers. It means alot to me to know I have your support. I've been in here these past couple of days and I've been getting really down. This whole situation is making me feel a little depressed. I don't like this environment and having a place I can go to like this for support is making this stay a little easier. Thanks again for the prayers and keep them coming so I can get out of here.

Yes I pray in not too long I can look back & be like been there done that & now it's all good & Toya continues to be in my prayers... I feel so bad for her that it makes me not want to complain @ all...

I'm 6 days post op and I've been tired alot. I'm not supposed to start my multi-vitamins and B12 pills until tomorrow so hopefully that helps. I'm def not getting in my 64 oz Protein and 64 oz liquid. I've been drinking the Atkins Advantage for my protein which only had 15 g protein and that is the most I might get. I'm thinking I might just start making my own. I'm down 10.4 lbs since surgery so that's a plus. I'm noticing my incisions are starting to itch and some of them are hurting more than the others but I'm gonna ask about it at the post op appt. I'm supposed to go see my surgeon this afternoon for my post op appointment. I wish there were a Trader Joes in my area...

I was supposed to start my pre-op diet on Aug.30th but haven't. It's not a liquid diet just cutting out carbs so I guess I'll start tomorrow with the holidays being over. I'm nervous, excited, anxious, and a whole lot more but I'm going to leave it to God. I've noticed I've been on this website way too much lately, lol. It's addicting.

My surgery is at 11:30 tomorrow. The countdown begins...

People can make anything on the internet appear as if it really works. I knew someone who got it for $25 and was told she had to keep buying them to see results. She was dumb enough to keep buying them but never saw a difference.
