Cardiac clearance appointment tomorrow and then I wait to see if this breast cancer is going to delay my sleeve. If I don't need chemo, I should be able to stay on track, even considering the double mastectomy. Wow - talk about a new body!

Pulmonary appointment went great! I have my first sleep study next week which will likely show sleep apnea. I've already made my follow up sleep study appointment WITH CPAP two weeks later. Then I meet with the NP at the sleep center Nov. 13 to see my results and get my clearance.

My MRI looked good - no sign of any other breast cancers. I will still have another surgery at the end of this month to remove any cancer remaining at the original site and test my sentinel node. How big that surgery is will depend on the outcome of some genetic testing next week. If all goes well, I may possibly still be on track for getting my sleeve by mid-November. Fingers crossed!

Today is my first appointment with the surgeon and I'm GIDDY with excitement!
