  1. The surgery is the best move I ever made. Love my sleeve. All the best to and for you.
  2. Welcome! It's exciting to learn you have your surgery date. I was sleeved July 22, 2013 and it was the best decision I ever made. I started my research on the sleeve back in 2004. On June 1, 2012 I went to my first information session and have not looked back since. I can tell you after the first three months my mixes said to me that she hadn't heard me complain about my knees or back. She would watch me almost run up the steps. My starting weight was 264 and my current weight is 189. I feel great. I want to lose 100 lbs and I believe by March I may be there. I don't rush through this because I didn't gain the weight overnight. All the best to you on this journey. Best advice I can give is talk with your doctor and follow their instructions. Karen.

    Yeast Infection from Hades

I did. It experience one but the antibiotics can cause them and with the cut in Protein it seems to trigger it as well. You may need something stronger that the do for can subscribe. Try a seven day treatment if you can't get an appointment. Use the creams at night. I find they do better. You not moving g as much and they stay in better. Feel better soon.

    Any Pennsylvania Sleevers?

I had surgery at temple university. I would suggest going to their support groups to talk with those that had the surgery. They may have greater insight.

    Horror Story

Every situation for every person is different. I hope your friend recovers and gets better. Good luck with your continued weight loss without surgery. I was sleeved July 22,2013 and am very happy with the decision. I did years yes years of research before having the procedure. Part of that research included knowing about risks and what could possibly happen to me. It is sad when things go wrong. Again I hope your friend recovers.

    So is SEX better now?

I've not had sex in a long while. But since having my surgery I have noticed the pubis is smaller and thankfully not hanging. I am hoping to find that special someone to engage with but until then I'll keep working out. My other friends have said sex is better.
  9. Hitting my stride, loving my sleeve!
