Another reason why I had a change of heart is that with the LB, you dont have restriction at first, and that it takes quite a few adjustments to get to your "sweet spot" I didnt have the money time or patience for that! Also If I am have MAJOR surgery with anesthesia, I want it to be the most effective, with the fastest results!!!

You won't be able to finish your own food after surgery! Once the weight starts to fall off, you'll be able to run with them and you'll have to find other things to do because eating won't occupy your mind and time like it used to!
I also suggest that you sign up to MyFitnessPal.com. You can use it to help you track the amount of Proteins and other nutrients you're consuming.

I agree with you about the sleeve. I was pro lap band also but did the research and changed my mind. About it now being as bad as a c-section, I heard its like having your gallbladder out. I have had 4 c-sections and my gallbladder out and the c-sections were a walk in the park compared to my gallbladder surgery. So just prepare yourself. Thats what I'm doing. I have my surgery date for June 25th starting my pre op diet on Monday.. Good Luck with your surgery and weight loss ~~

So August 20th is the big day!! I can't believe how easy this process had been, my insurance hasn't fought me on anything (knock on wood), the tests were easy to schedule and complete and my surgeon & his staff have been amazing! I'm so excited!
Anyone else getting sleeved in August?
