New To Vst And Finding It Very Helpful!

Just make sure this is what you want for ever. You may not be able to eat some of the things you love. you may get reflux which nexium fixes for me. You may feel panicky normal with many people but will pass. weight loss is great but does depend on what you put in your mouth. no sugar means no sugar but splenda is great. good luck to you Brooke. I am very happy with my sleeve lost 45 pounds so far my next weigh in is on wenesday. i am 6 weeks post op

    First Night Home

buy a sippy bottle and sip all liquids from it. Frozen diet yogurts were very easy for my stomach to process and mashed potatoes and lentil soup all easy on stomach, or try baby foods

    Things I Miss

I had my first negative tolerance to iceberg lettuce and onions, it was horrible. I also am having a hard time enjoying food like i used to so worried about my eating habits and the feelings i get in my stomach. Unsure what they are really. Am I full am I starving????I can hold about 100 ml of soup or liquid and about 2 oz of solid if I drag it out to an hour eating. I would love to sink my teeth into a hot melty saucy piece of pizza nothing else does a thing for me, I am 4 weeks post op and my stomach still perfers baby food yougurt and soft stuff.

    Come On Nurses, Let's Conference

I like my vsg, my main problem is inability to distinguish between being hungry and full. I have to measure out my food quantity so that i get enough to eat. Some thing I loved i can no longer tolerate like garlic, no skins on tomatoes and veggies. so far my diabetes has been in check i will get a hgba1c again and see where i am at now.

    What's Unique About Being A 50S Sleever?

I have diabetes and high cholesterol, i heard the sleeve will assist these diseases to go away. I have knee pain and have a hard time walking. I used to run every where. I just hope this will help me. I have a hard time due to the fact that i also had double hernia surgical repair at the same time as my sleeve.

    Hello

Hello, does anyone else have the problem of inability to distinguish being hungry from full, I feel the same way and have discovered I have to measure my food in order to know if i have had enough or need more. How do you take care of this?
