Well as i read the blogs, the more excited i get, its been a roller coaster ride for me, one day im nervous, next day im scared and now im excited. I have been overweight all my life, never thought i would do anything like this. I was always against it, but after a follow up vist with my diabetes specialist last september, i was told im only getting worst and there was nothing i could do, no matter how much i tried i would get worst, so i turned to the sleeve, and its been a process . Luckly for me im doing it with my sister, which happens to be one of my best friend too so we will be supporting each other, i dont think i could do it without her. So March 21 is the big day, we are doing the Protein Shakes which i have grown to like, tastes alot like a mexican shake we have had all our lifes, so its been easy, the only thing i crave everything.....but i have been holding on and we will see, hope to God everything turns out well no complications.

Hi! I am new too! I signed on yesterday! Welcome! I havent had the surgery yet and and excited and nervous at the same time. Are you happy you did it?
Hello! I am new to the forum and I am so glad that I can talk with others who are making this incredible journey! I had my surgery on October 10, 2010, and I have lost 50 pounds. My weight the day of surgery was 230 and I now weigh 179. I'm still a work in progress!!

Hi there! I have been reading posts on this site and fidn the information, people and posts so helpful. I registered today. I am waiting to hear for a surgery date (and am thinking for sometime in May) and wondered if anyone has any regrets after having the surgery? I am worried about complications during and after. Any insight (both good or bad) is so very much appreciated.
Tommow is the day!
