    tall female sleevers...

Hello, I'm 5'10" my CW is 177.8 my HW 304, SW 271.6 4-30-13 PERSONAL GW 185. BEING Pear shaped makes weight loss intersting for me. I waer a medium top and size 12-14 pants. But taht's still better than 2-3 x tops and 22-24 pants. So I want to slow weight loss some, a weight 171 seems great for ME.

  8. Feeling weak, tired & fatigued. I hope you feel better soon. :-)
  9. Idoyle as long as we are all losing that's what counts. I had a hard getting my protien and water in as well. It takes time and the new tummy has to heal. We will all get to our goals! In the beginning remembering to eat and drink, take vitamins, minerals and so on becomes a part time job until it becomes second nature. Take care of yourself :-):-)
  10. I had a 2 week stall once around 3 months. But now about 1-3 pounds a week which is fine for me. I met my personal goal, not sure how much further the sleeve will take me. But you're right it was worth it all. Happy happy happy

    Changing my mindset...

It takes time and a lot of practice to change our habits to healthy choices. We can all do it, just take your time :-)

Also check Amazon for vitamins once your Doc tells you what they recommend.

what should I get before surgery?

Sugar free jello and puddings. Bottled water and some type of cup with a lid to keep track of how much your are drinking. Canned tuna and chicken to eat. Applesauce no sugar added, protien drinks that are ready to use at first. Mini food chopper or blender I have a Ninja. Comfy pjs, a robe, slippers, stretchy pants and tee shirts. Alcohol to remove sticky tape adhesive from your arm. 90+ lbs gone since surgery. :-)

    Cant eat poultry ?

I'm 5 months out, eating chicken can be challenging because it's a dense protien for me. So that means I have to chew it many, many, many times for it to go down and not bother me. I hope this helps someone. :-)

I have already fallen off the wagon.

Remember the sleeve is a tool for us to use on this weight loss journey. We may fall off the wagon but get up dust yourself off and chance the wagon and get back on it. Remember life is a journey not a sprint, you can do this, get your head in the game. I have lost 90+ lbs since surgery 4/30/13 & 120+ since September-Oct 2012. So if I can anyone can, from a former true food addict. :-)

    I gained weight after surgery?

Some of it comes from IV fluids and eventually getting constipated, if you're not careful about liquid intake when you get home.
