    September sleevers wanted!

hi everyone! i was sleeved on the 7th and this is my first post post sleeve! i am doing well - getting my fluids in and just taking each hour as it comes! i have alot of painful tugging on my left side but apparently that is normal. recovery for me has been pretty quick but i am not going to lie - i was in alot of pain in the hours after surgery. i hope everyone is good and if any of you have any questions just ask! x
  3. Hope everything went well for you yesterday. Let us know how you are doing.

  4. hi emma welcome to the forum! there is a september sleevers thread on here where all the people getting sleeved this month are! its good having that little bit of support from people who are going through the exact same as you at the same time! you will be absolutley fine - this surgery is going to improve our lives for the better - we just have to keep reminding ourselves of that whenever we get nervous or scared! Rhian x

    September sleevers wanted!

there are alot of people on the same date as me which makes me excited lol. i am also the 7th! it must be a good day haha! as the days pass by i cant stop myself from looking at smaller clothes and trying to imagine myself actually being that small...it seems like it will never happen but from all the success stories on here i know that it will...does that make any sense at all? i am excited nervous apprehensive...and so many other things on top of those...i kind of just want it to be over with already so i can being the journet to a slimmer happier me! x
  11. Hi everyone! i went shopping today and went into the health food shop to try and get some of what i need for after the op. i bought a maxitone protein shake for women and the shaker that goes with it, i got a bottle of multi vitamins and a bottle of vitamin b12. just wondered what else if anything you would recommend me to get? thanks! rhian

    September sleevers wanted!

it is perfectly normal to be nervous...so i have heard lol. 90% of the time i feel excited about the op and how much my life will improve afterwards but for the other 10% i am scared about complications ect...i dont think you would be right if you didnt worry a little bit. i think the trick is to keep reminding yourself why you are having the op done and how much better your life will be afterwards. i had a convo with my mum last night and she said that although she couldnt give me her blessing for the op (she is against any op which is not 'essential' even though i tried to explain i believe it is essential to my future health) she will do what she can to make it easier for me. i am so relieved! i hope she will come around a bit more when seh sees the results from my op!. x

    September sleevers wanted!

hi everyone! i am scheduled to fly out on the 5th september and my surgery will be on the 7th! i am so excited yet pretty nervous at the same time - i cancelled my holiday so i could get it done that bit quicker. i think once i had deciced i wanted it after alot of research that was it - i wanted it asap lol.. i do keep having little niggling doubts but i suppose that is to be expected... how have all your family taken the news? my mum wasnt and still isnt very supportive...? xx
