It's perfectly normal to go through those emotions. The one thing you can look forward to is you will be able to eat your favorite foods again, just in smaller portions. I honestly never feel deprived or like I am dieting now that I'm at goal. Good luck on your surgery, and keep us posted on your progress.

Just like you, I'm Pre-OP. Never been banded, sleeved, etc. just out of control LOL. I have a housemate from England. I think he's from Liverpool area. I'll find out. Good to meet you and I hope we both share in an Exciting Journey of self discovery & weight loss!!!! talk with you soon, Sheryl

Hiya, you seem to have been on here for a long while. I'm still trying to get my way around starting today. I'm pre-op and diabetic and my op is on 24th May and pretty nervous. I am eating more than I normally do and just doing the things I shouldn't in regards to food and sweets! Is this the norm in terms of eating?

Hi I am new having a gastric sleeve op but I am also type 2 diabetic and on insulin SolarStar. I am pre op and date scheduled for 24th May
